The Whole 2 Story Cabin Is Yours To Enjoy. It Will Sleep Up To 6 People.

About Mary Kay Williamson
Approx. 6 years ago, while browsing E-bay, we discovered this treasure! This chestnut beauty had been disassembled & was sitting in a warehouse in Philadelphia. It was originally located in Lancaster County, Penn. in the heart of Amish Country. After its cross country journey, courtesy of 2 eighteen wheeler, it reached its new home in historic Cisco, Texas. We had it resurrected in the front yard of our 1890's Victorian home, nestled in the oak trees. It has been a long labor of love to restore it to its original glory. Enjoy climbing the original stairs that were there before the Civil War! To us, it is such an American treasure, we want to share it with you!
Mary Kay Williamson purchased this Cabin in 2009
Why Mary Kay Williamson chose Cisco
We purchased our Victorian home in Cisco 16 years ago because we fell in love with the area and all its historic homes and quiet neighborhoods. Downtown there are many antique stores, a unique coffee shop, and some good restaurants. After surfing the web one Christmas, we found this cabin on E-bay. We have always loved historic cabins and have a love for primitive antiques. It was so much fun fixing it up and using the antiques and unusual items we have used to decorate. It has truly been a labor of love! When we actually moved to Cisco in 2010, we opened an antique business downtown called Log Cabin Collectibles and Custom Framing.
What makes this Cabin unique

What a great marriage and oh what a journey!!! It was so much fun fixing it up and using the antiques and unusual items we have used to decorate. From old well covers and colanders for lighting to galvanized buckets and wash tubs for sinks, it has truly been a labor of love!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this amazing, historic log cabin in the very lovely and quaint little town of Cisco. Mary Kay and her husband John were very accommodating, gracious and attentive. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Wife and I’s anniversary
Great getaway for our anniversary, my wife and I enjoyed the cabin very much, The breakfast was AMAZING
Thank you Aaron. We enjoyed hosting you both and hope you will visit us again!
Restful and charming
The log cabin is unbelievable cute and decorated wonderfully. The breakfast every day was yummy and straight from kitchen ready to eat. The hosts are so friendly and pleasant. It was the ultimate place to rest. We went hiking at Brownwood State Park and ate locally in several towns. What a fabulous vacation but too short could have gone shopping but ran out of time. Thanks for the memories.
Thank you Jackie. So glad you and your husband enjoyed your stay. We really enjoyed meeting you both and hope you will come again sometime in the future. Thanks again!!!

John and Mary Kay
Wonderful stay!! Fantastic breakfast!! Very friendly owners!!
Friendly owners allowed us to view the cabin in advance and we were also allowed to check in early. We were 2 couples so my wife and I slept downstairs on the leather pull out sofa. The owner was so kind and purchased an extra pad to make it more comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the big claw foot tub. Our friends upstairs enjoyed the king size bed and shower.
Breakfast was hot from the oven cinnamon crisp scones, fresh cut fruit, bacon, and orange juice. Yummy!
Sure there were some creeky floor boards upstairs, but that is to be expected in an old structure. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!!
Thank you so much for the good review Tom. We really enjoyed you all and hope you come back again sometime.
