My family had a wonderful time at this house! It is at the end of a long, winding hill at the edge of town. When you are there, it is a quiet neighborhood on the edge of the forest. But, it takes just a few minutes to head into town... Best of both worlds!
Great house for a group, ski-in-ski-out just a walk down the road. Free shuttle comes to house.
Great cabin a short drive from town. Shuttle comes into cul-de-sac for a ride to the slopes. Very clean although two other rooms have less quality than the master although is accurately depicted. Property is beautiful and having a garage is great. Only complaint is that the kitchen is completely empty (no spices and no simple kitchen items like aluminum foil) although there are plenty of dishes and other standard items. Would stay again in a heartbeat - worth the premium for being so close to town.
Perfect home for a large group of friends to enjoy Breckenridge
Perfect getaway enough out of town to be peaceful and relaxing. Close enough to go into town and Enjoy the evenings
Excellent! More than we thought we would get!
First off- excellent upkeep. The home was very clean when we arrived. Speaking of arrival, this home is owned/managed by a property company with a storefront in downtown, so check-in/questions/management is a full time job for them.
We were delighted with how close we could actually ski-in (5 min walk) and ski-out(10 min walk in ski boots). It was around the corner from the house and up/down a slight incline. Anyone in any shape to ski can do it. However, skiing out from Cimarron through the trees is not for beginners. Intermediates+ should be fine. The trail was easy enough to follow and the trees through the woods are marked.
I want to talk more about the daily attention- Every morning, sometimes much to our annoyance, someone was there at 6am scraping off the front walks, scraping the overnight snow off the hot tub cover and deck. When we called to have the driveway shoveled it was done by the time we got done skiing. Maid service showed up every other day!?!?! Nowhere did it say that was going to happen, but much to our delight maid service was there to change towels out with fresh ones, take out trash and tidy up.
The house was furnished with 5+ humidifiers for our guests. Each person got to take a humidifier and set their own level. Very key when visiting during winter dry season.
The house has no central HVAC. Each room, and each hallway/bathroom for that matter, had it's own thermostat, which for everyone was great! Everyone got to set their own comfort level in the bedrooms and bathrooms. And speaking of bathrooms, THEY HAD HEATED FLOORS!
Continuing on the bathrooms- the master shower, was, without a doubt, the best damn shower I've taken in my lifetime. 3 nozzles, a separate heater, a steam generator, and a stone seat inside. No joke, I took 2 showers a day.
The kitchen was HUGE and ample, and furnished with more than enough pots/pans/utensils/silverware. The appliances worked flawlessly. There was a GIGANTIC walk-in pantry that wasn't even pictured that could have held 50x the rations we bought.
There were 2 heated garages- one specifically for a vehicle, and one more geared towards a ski-staging area. Both got to 70F+ and were good enough to leave our ski gear in without trampling snow and dirt into the house.
I would definitely recommend this house. I want come back here ASAP as it was one of the greatest VRBO experiences I've ever had. Absolutely fantastic!!!!
