About Annie McDonald
Hi my name is Annie and I am a Glass Artist, I have been working in glass for over 30years, I think I have a glass addiction. I have created many leadlight windows and I do kiln fired glass work, slumping and fusing. The latest technique that I am using is Pate de Verre, French for glass paste, it is really interesting and beautiful, I would love you to visit my Studio and see what I make, just ask. I also have lived at RSR for 23 years, I built my home and bought my kids up here and we had many horses, I have my horse Cleo still enjoying her paddock, but she is retired. I enjoy gardening and looking after my grand girls, they are little treasures. Traveling is a big part of my life these days as well, the NT last October was amazing, I would recommend going to everyone.Well come and stay here and chill.
Why Annie McDonald chose Black Mountain
I have lived on the northern end of the Sunshine Coast since 1975, yep a while ago and I fell in love with it. I am passionate about our environment in the Noosa shire and have been very active in keeping it that way. I have seen a lot of changes, but I'm glad that I saw it way back when. It's a great place for my kids to bring their kids up in. I love watching the sun and moon rise over Mt Tinbeerwah, there is such a large sky vista that you can see the Milky Way and many stars at night.
What makes this Cottage unique
I built my home as a owner builder, I made sure I could add my unique touch with plenty of leadlight windows in it. I bought the property because of the views and location, Cooroy being such a great little town, for my kids to have horses and ride to pony club, I was an instuctor for many years. The Noosa Trail Network is just down the road to enjoy on horse, bike or walk. There are lots of cute little towns near by to explore and the Eumundi Markets down the road.
Please consider the following guidelines when booking this property:

Rising sun is tucked down a lane in a very quiet spot. Virtually no traffic noise but lots of birds calling in the trees. Very comfortable and attractive space in the cottage.
I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay Robyn, thanks for leaving the Cottage clean and tidy, I hope to visit us again.
It was very clean and i was happy to have my Dog inside with us, nice Little view At the back there.
