Ok but not that handy

Basic, clean rooms with a foam mattress. Plenty of noise from the room above and neighbours. The worst part of it, you are just around the airport however due to the lack of footpath and main road, you have to pay 10-15 euro extra for the taxi from/to the location. There is no restaurants open so your only food option is a minimart.

Comfortable and handy to airport

We arrived earlier than our eta. This was only a minor problem, with the owners father, not speaking english. He made us welcome and comfortable though, and his son came later to check on us. The apartment was very comfortable, and surrounded with fruit trees, in a semi rural area near the airport. We were very happy with our stay there. Make sure you have mapping though, as it is off the main road.

What a delightful place this is! Stijepo and his family are just truly wonderful hosts. So much so that on my first morning I was presented with a bowl of what tasted and looked like donut holes dusted with icing sugar; however, I am sure it was a traditional Croatian dish. Nevertheless, it were these kinds of goodwill gestures that were never overlooked. I was even offered a complimentary ride back to Dubrovnik Airport upon checking out! My accommodation was the ground floor studio apartment. It was beautifully appointed with a fridge, TV, air conditioning, electric stovetop, microwave oven, sink, pots, plates and cutlery, lounge, and dining table. Pretty much everything you would expect with a self-contained apartment. The bathroom was more than adequate; however, you might want to pack your own shampoo, conditioner and soap as there was only a soap dispenser, hairdryer, bath towels and toilet paper provided. The apartment looked as if it had been recently refurbished as everything looked brand spanking new and well cared for. Anyway, many thanks, Stijepo and family, for making me feel right at home. Your efforts are truly appreciated, and I can’t recommend this place enough. Kind regards Teresa. 😊
