This property is located metres away from South West Rocks CBD and local beaches. Air conditioned for your comfort plus offering a spacious outdoor area and fully fenced yard. South West Rocks is situated only a short drive off the Pacific Highway between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. South West Rocks is a beautiful seaside holiday village that is home to the best beaches and scenic views on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

The crystal clear waters of Trial Bay or Horseshoe Bay, are ideal swimming for the family with small children. For the more experienced surfers the beaches to visit include Smoky Cape Beach, The Gap and Little Bay.

If you are feeling energetic you can hire catamarans, windsurfers, surf skis, stand-up paddle boards, pushbikes, diving equipment, small fishing boats or hire a fishing charter to go deep sea fishing.

If you would like to just relax, you can lay on one of our beautiful beaches or you can fish the banks of the Macleay River or any of our pristine beaches, as South West Rocks is renowned as one of the best fishing spots on the east coast.
The historic Trial Bay Gaol, Smoky Cape Lighthouse, and the walking trails through the Arakoon State Recreation Park are just a few of the natural attractions on offer. Explore the Rocky headlands, unspoiled beaches or just sit back and enjoy spectacular scenery around you.

Our sub-tropical climate has mild winters and moderate summers, offering crystal clear waters in which to swim, making South West Rocks a beautiful holiday destination all year round.

Most of our accommodation is centrally located to the town centre, beaches, restaurants and facilities.

The location is great. Easy key collection with guidelines. Conflicting information from real estate to real estate information guide in property. Took days to answer some questions. Some damage to furnishings, damaged fan in one bedroom. Lawn mower men turned up in the yards unannounced. Toilet outside on verandah had terrible stench of stale urine in the hot days. Otherwise, was a roomy quaint old cottage. Internet there but not available to guests.

Thank you for your feedback, All information required for your accommodation was supplied by email and available on our website. The information in the unit is currently being upgraded that's why we ask our guest to read all emails in regard to their accommodation. We also answered all your question in regard to Wi-Fi before your arrival. All repairs have been made to the property. Our maintenance team are on a roster and are allowed access to the lawns/gardens/bins when required.

Great location but needs some attention

Best location we've stayed in SWR. Short stroll to beaches and shops. Lovely sea breezes from beach. Best points were space, big kitchen, comfy beds, good TV and lots of furniture out front verandah for a gathering. Needing attention were cleanliness (many surfaces need a good scrub, fronts of kitchen cupboards, window sills, litter left under beds and some grubby frypans in the kitchen) storage in bedrooms (in one room cheap flimsy drawers where an old dresser would have suited better) and lack of a clothes airer (although there was a line out back) and no laundry basket. There is no car accommodation - just out the front on the grass. Also, the windows on the west loungeroom were painted shut which made for a hot afternoon. Thankfully there was an air conditioner in this room but we'd prefer the breeze.We paid 1300 for a the last week of Jan 2019.

Old house needs to be ventilated

Please ventilate house before guests arrival. Very old house that needs to have all doors and windows opened prior to guests arriving. Terrible smell in house caused by not having anyone stayed there for a long time. Thanks

My stay at Mrs Mottees cottage was very comfortable. The house is old, simple and basic without modcons, but great for the price & location fantastic! Enough room for a family or 2 couples, well equipped long as you dont mind toilet out on verandah & no dishwasher (adds to the charm!) Only dissapointment was tv & dvd didnt work. Real estate did replace with an old tv (sound terrible) & dvd (broken remote so didnt work anyway!) Wouldn't normally bother me but had 3days rain! Would recommend staying here but would definately be replacing tv/dvd.

We were so sorry to hear of Debbies experience with the old Television, so we installed a new fandango Television that is able to connect to your portable hard drives. We think its super duper, and we are sure you will all find it a great alternative to the beach and all the marvelous outdoors activities South West Rocks offers, so when the heavens open our new entertainment system will have you sorted.
