About this property

Beautiful Victorian house one block from Galveston Bay. Complete with Koi pond and water view. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house has, both, a fully stocked kitchen (cookware, plates, glasses, silverware, ect.) and a kitchenette. It has two decks, a balcony and a sun porch. Two covered driveways. We provide all of the linens (sheets, towels, ect) for your stay. The house also has a full size washer and dryer. Bayshore Park and boat ramp are only 0.2 miles away. Quick trip to Kemah Boardwalk and Galveston Beach. There is a kite surfing beach close by and the Texas City Dike. And dont forget to check out NASA while you're in the neighborhood.

Vacation Stay

There were so many little things that made this a great stay! For example...The owner left bath bombs and wine. That bathtub was wonderful! Our beloved pet was welcomed. The house has such great character! We all loved this quiet, convenient home! Thank you for such a great experience!

Charming home

It's like staying at grandmothers. All the ladies loved it. We barbecued on the top deck, feed the fish in the pond. Plenty of beds, and as stated lots of supplies. We launched a boat in the bay. There is an RV park that, for a small fee allowed us to park the pontoon boat overnight.

Just as It was showed in the pictures. The little pond was a plus the kids loved it. The only thing we didn’t like was the cigarette smell the house had. We were unaware that it was a smoking home. Other than that it was perfect.

Worst rental ever!

The property was filthy. We found leftover food in the fridge, cigarette butts on the counter, and dirty towels in the bathroom. The stairs were a hazard with nails sticking out. The cigarette smell was so strong all throughout the house. There were stains on the bedsheets. We were given a partial refund which doesn't make up for the fact that we had to get hotel rooms. A few of our family members were bitten by fleas. They actually pulled the fleas off their body. This place should not be allowed to be a VRBO!! We will never VRBO again!

Unique and spacious house

This house was nice and my family enjoyed the unique style of the house. The back yard was great for sitting and enjoying the outdoors while having privacy. The kids enjoyed feeding and looking at the koi fish.

Above and Beyond

From the moment we arrived, the little bungalow exceeded all expectations. Cuter than the photos, comfortable, fully equipped and conveniently located. We were able to access beaches, eateries, the boardwalk easily. Also, Stephanie was an absolute gem. She had a birthday bouquet waiting for me, as I had shared that this was my birthday trip. She was helpful from the booking through the end of the trip, not invasive just enthusiastic and supportive. Perfect all around!

Outstanding host

Stephanie was an awesome host! The home needs a little bit of updating in the kitchen and first-level patio area but is very well equipped with towels, toiletries, cooking equipment, condiments, etc. She is fantastic at communicating and responds to all messages immediately.

Perfect for our fur family

We had a great time - the property is comfortable if unusual in its layout. A little dated in the kitchen but that's not what we are on vacation for :-) . The property owners are a breeze to deal with and very good at communicating and accommodating requests.

Very quaint and close to Kehma Boardwalk

Overall our stay was great. The owner is very communicative. It's an older home in an older neighborhood but the updated remodeling on the first floor was GORGEOUS and the master bath is AMAZING! It fit our needs very well.
