Where to begin, upon arrival as walking in the door I was upset instantly! The house was very dirty from dishes left in the sink to holes in the wall and markings all throughout on the walls. Beds didn't look like they were cleaned just looked as if they were maid with dirty bedding. Half the lights in the house didn't work which we found odd. The pool area was so dirty there was mice droppings everywhere, the gate was ripped allowing in bugs and brush, the furniture needs serious updating. I was extremely upset as I've rented many Florida rentals and never had this type of experience. For some of my guests it was their first time in Florida so it was such a let down. Also I paid for spa heat which never worked so it was either broken or never turned on but nobody got back to me about any of my concerns! I had high hopes as I've stayed at this resort before and it was a great time but this time I feel completely robbed of a family vacation a huge part of why I like Florida is for the amazing rentals. I wouldn't recommend this rental at all because I also reached out beforehand about the bad reviews which I was insured they hired new cleaners etc.. look elsewhere there's way better properties that actually look like the photos and more attentive staff!!

High expectations led to disappointment

Pictures made the home look immaculate. Unfortunately, when we arrived we found ourselves having to clean before we could enjoy. Place is in need of some new paint on walls. Doors were broken off of closets, some curtains were not attached, we found random items under beds, in the couch. We reached out to the property manager and the initial response was what address. Then there was radio silence. We never heard from him again regarding any of our concerns. Also we paid for pool heat for the week and only had it for about 3 days. Once we cleaned the place and got situated it was an enjoyable stay.

Half of the amenities were broken or missing. They fired the property manager during our stay.

The pool was so green for 5 days that we didn't want to use it. The pool table didn't have any pool cues and the table itself was tore up. The projector did not work. There is no arcade anymore at the resort ...or a cinema. The resort closed the pool early and often. There were no paper towels, dish soap, hand soap...etc and not even enough toilet paper for each room. The screen door to the pool was broken. There was no access to a broom or vacuum. All of the batteries in the remotes were dead. There were roaches and ants in the house. The brick walkway in the entrance is falling apart terribly. The themed rooms were missing alot of the themed decor or bedspreads. The kitchen was missing basic cooking supplies....not even a spatula. The oven took twice as long to heat up and twice as long to cook than normal.....about an hour for a frozen pizza.....And there were actually more problems. The owners ended up firing the property manager while we were there, but the only thing that improved was the pool. There were 16 of us staying there and it rained the whole week and we would have loved to been able to play pool or watch a movie or swim in our pool when the resort's closed. The beds and bathrooms were accommodating, but this was far from the luxury vacation we expected.
