About Owner/Property Manager
My husband and I both grew up in Issaquah Washington and lived in Western Washington most of our lives. We lived in Maui Hawaii for about 5 years which was a great adventure but we were happy to return to the Pacific Northwest to be near family and friends again and to experience seasons once again. The transition back to theNW lead us to retirement and our move here to Walla Walla.
Owner/Property Manager purchased this Cottage in 2014
Why Owner/Property Manager chose Walla Walla
My husband and I fell in love with Walla Walla on our first visit in 2014. We were lucky enough to find this great home for retirement. We love being close to all the activities and adventures downtown Walla Walla offers, but our home and neighborhood is generously populated with trees and shrubs to provide a quiet, rural feel. We both grew up in Issaquah when it was a small town and Walla Walla has that same feel but offers so much more. We are blessed to have weather here on the east side of Washington State to allow for more outdoor time to hike in the hills and work in the yard, (translate that as more beautiful blue sky days and fewer gray dreary days like Western Washington) but still have the seasons and weather changes that feel familiar to us.

Summer Road Trip 2019
We loved our stay at Woodlawn Cottage in Walla Walla. This was our first stop on our summer road trip and we could not have been more pleased with our accommodations. The cottage was perfectly located for a quick drive to downtown for delicious dining and to many local tasting rooms and the vineyards. Set in a beautiful neighborhood and nicely decorated.
The owners met us upon our arrival and had yogurt in the frig along with their homegrown strawberries, blueberries and tomatoes. Delicious and so thoughtful!
We will definitely stay again when we return to Walla Walla.
We travel to 4 different locations on our vacation and this was the absolute best place we stayed. So clean and beautiful. Super private. Kyree and Mike left us berries and fresh tomatoes from their garden. Nothing was overlooked. There was even coffee with real half and half. When we go back to Walla Walla we will make sure to stay here. It was perfection.
Our hosts, Kyree and Mike, were so welcoming and accommodating ... greeted us the minute we drove up! The cottage was absolutely spotless and very comfortable ... just adorable. Unfortunately, it was a one-night stay on our way through Walla Walla, but a wonderful experience!!
Hosts are warm and accessible. Sweet cottage located in town but with a feel of the country. Spotless but warmly decorated. . Beautiful vegetable garden. Perfect weather to boot.
Comfortable, quiet, clean
Great stay.. very nice accommodations at a good price. Nice little surprises in the way of snacks and other little things. Would recommend.
Kyree saved our annual wine weekend get away
We were going to forfeit our reservation at the last minute due to my wife becoming ill with a cold. When I informed Kyree of the situation, she offer without hesitation a second bed roll for my daughter as the three day wine event was non cancelable. If you are a wine lover, Walla Walla is a fantastic wine area and beats Napa for value hands down. Kyree's studio will be our place to stay. The welcome gift snacks was an extra special touch.
