Charming furnished rental (half of a duplex) in one of LA’s coolest neighborhoods! Plenty of restaurants and a great gym within walking distance. On-site laundry free of charge. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Sleeps six. Near major studios and attractions.

All the comforts of home plus utilities are included.

Wifi, gated backyard space with rod iron furniture and container garden with lots of flowers and succulents.

Living room, dining room, and full remodeled kitchen. Living room includes a Queen-sized futon with 8" latex mattress with 4” memory foam topper.
Two bedrooms (each with its own walk-in closet), one full bath.

One bedroom is equipped with a Cal King bed, new (as of 12/2021) pillowtop hybrid mattress, and the other is equipped with a full-sized bed with a twin-sized trundle bed, each with foam topper. There is air conditioning and a heater in each room, too.

Ample, permit-free street parking, and off-street parking is available.

The property is comprised of a single-family home plus cottage. Hosts live in one half of the home, while we rent the back half of the house, which is completely private with its own kitchen and private entrance. In addition, we have a smaller unit that we rent as well. The only shared spaces are the backyard and the laundry room. The backyard has several different seating areas.

The property was spacious, clean and well-equipped with everything we needed.
Tom and Heidi were wonderful hosts. They provided us with unexpected snacks and drinks. They were very friendly and we felt very at home. It was a wonderful place to stay after a long flight and very convenient (with a hire car) to see the sights of LA (universal studios, Griffith observatory, etc). The rooms were quite spacious and even charging cables and a hair straightener were provided. The laundry was provided free of charge and it was a safe, quiet neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We were stayed 1 day here. The check in instructions clearly explained how to get in and out of the place. The place was set for a wonderful welcome (relaxing music playing from the tv, windows open to allow fresh air in, candle lit for a wonderful smell). The place was nice and neat, plenty of room for our family and a small backyard to enjoy. Tom was there to answer any questions that we may have. The place is well kept up and you can tell the owners take pride in the place. They are accommodating for children with book and crayons for children and had some rock painting supplies right outside. Will come back if we are in need of a place in that area.

A fantastic home base
The place was perfect and the host was amazing. The coffee bar alone was worth it ☕️. In LA, it comes down to location. 100% safe and walkable to some great restaurants but also an excellent base for exploring Hollywood, Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Griffith Park, we also made it to 6 Flags. We had an amazing time and are so thankful for Tom making his place available.

Cozy home in the center of LA
We had a great time staying at this house. It was in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. Loads of food options available around this area. Tom was very helpful and very welcoming. The house was also well equipped with anything that you would’ve thought you need.

My wife and I work in the entertainment industry. We love traveling and we love meeting new people. My wife speaks German fluently and is conversant in French. We are eager to be of help with advice and suggestions as you explore all of the exciting and beautiful things that Los Angeles has to offer. We have three adorable, well-behaved rescue dogs who also love to welcome new guests! They live with us in a separate dwelling so there is no contact between them and guests (in case of allergies) unless guests want it.

There are lots of fine restaurants and shops at the end of our block, within easy walking distance.

Why they chose this property

This is a private 2 bedroom space that sleeps 5 comfortably, and is central to major attractions that Southern California has to offer. It is also a very walkable, safe neighborhood with lots of great shops and restaurants, and nearly every kind of cuisine one desires is within a 10-minute walk.

Hosts live in one half of the duplex, while we rent the back half of the duplex, which is completely private with its own kitchen and private entrance. In addition, we have a smaller unit that we rent as well. The only shared spaces are the backyard and the laundry room. The backyard has several different seating areas.

What makes this property unique

The space is on a quiet, tree-lined street, and a mere 2 minute walk to a vibrant blvd with shops, restaurants and nightlife. We're close enough to it that it's convenient, but far enough away to not be bothered by the (sometimes) noise level.
