This beautiful historical 2 bedroom bungalow located on the historic Wilbur Estate, has been refreshed with many of the original details still intact - including original brick walls and wooden support beams.

The farm kitchen incorporates all the modern conveniences including but not limited to a Gaggenau convention oven, Jenn-Air refrigerator/freezer and large gas cooktop.

The bath has been updated - with modern tile and glass shower door.

A bungalow unit that offers the best of old and new in a space that is stylish and comfortable for 4 guests.

Outside - green grass, flower beds, new in-ground pool and a nearby stream give the outdoor space an instant country feel.

Excellent Choice!

The property was lovely, and the hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. While the photos show a tastefully furnished contemporary home, they don't do justice to the spaciousness of the primary bedroom, the bathroom, or the hallway (yes, hallway width matters!). We loved cooking in the kitchen and swimming in the pool. And of course, Columbia County can't be beat. Views, hikes, farms, culture, history . . . The farm markets are wonderful (we liked Samascott the best), and the location allows for exploration of both the Hudson River valley and the Berkshires. We can't wait to go back!

Our stay was really great. The communication between the owners and myself was super great. They answered right away. We loved the pool. We were able to use the grill to make BBQ.

When we are not on the Estate, we are busy working away in the City but are a mere phone call or text away.

The Wilbur Estate is one of the oldest (and dare we say, grandest) homes on the Hamlet Square exhibiting both the Federal Style (from the front) and Greek Revival (on the side).

We fell in love with this home at first sight and we have spent the past 5-6 years carefully restoring it and at the same time making it uniquely our own.

This 2 bedroom guest bungalow on the Estate has a touch of modern, while still having a way of drawing in guests and making them feel immediately at home.

Conveniently located on the hamlet square - and within 30 minutes of both Hudson and the Berkshires - with all the great farms, restaurants, and countryside. Whether you enjoy - hiking, skiing, antiquing, shopping, exploring or hanging-out/relaxing - you will find it all conveniently nearby.
