DreamAway South is located on a dead end road directly across from the beach and has excellent beach access, almost right across the street. The home is located in a nice neighborhood adjacent to Surf City and is close to restaurants and stores. This is a luxury home with hardwood and tile floors and granite countertops throughout. There are four covered porches and one balcony, three of these have beautiful ocean views.
The house has all the modern amenities - smart TVs in four of the bedrooms and the living room and wireless internet access throughout. This is a single family home which shares one wall with the immediate adjacent home as you can see in the pictures. Our home is closer to the ocean access and has unimpeded ocean views, as you can see from the pictures.
On the ground floor, there is ample parking for six vehicles. There is an elevator which goes to the first and second floors - enabling you to transport luggage and groceries easily throughout the house. The ground floor also has a hot/cold shower for washing off after you come in from the beach!
Traveling up to the first floor, you will find three bedrooms and a laundry room.
The first bedroom faces the ocean and has a private deck, private bathroom with a bath/shower combination and a king bed. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom - which has a double sink and separate toilet/shower room. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with one double and one twin and a separate twin bed and is perfect for kids. The third bedroom has a queen bed and ample space to spread out. This room also includes a bookcase with many wonderful books if you need something to read on the beach! All the bedrooms on this floor have large closets for storage. The first and third bedrooms have televisions. The laundry room has an extra large washer and dryer and a sink, perfect for washing shells (or a small/medium dog)!
The second floor includes a gourmet kitchen - complete with granite countertops, kitchen island and separate bar area. Extra small appliances are included--crock pot, Kitchenaid mixer, Cuisinart, toaster, blender--and several coffee pots. The dining table easily seats 8 and there is an extra leaf which can be added to increase the seating to 10. There is are two stools on the island and four on the bar.
The living room is immediately adjacent to the kitchen and includes a large television which is internet capable which you can use to access your Hulu, Netflix and Amazon accounts. The living room has a couch, loveseat, two swivel chairs, one stand alone chair. We have a large collection of DVDs, CD's and games for you to enjoy! A deck is off the living room for great ocean views.
There is a half bath on this floor easily accessed from the living room. The fourth bedroom includes a queen bed and large closet. This room has access to a private deck and large bathroom with double sink and large soaking tub.
The third floor is one large bedroom with a large bathroom with shower and television of course. This room has a king bed and private balcony where you can enjoy the amazing ocean views. This room also has a living area which includes a sofa with queen bed, coffee table, recliner and rocking chair - providing an additional space for a small group to relax.
We are pet friendly and have a dog that comes to the beach with us from time to time! If you wish to bring your pet there is a $100 (per pet) non-refundable pet fee. You are able to walk dogs on the beach at any time. Maximum 3 dogs allowed at the house. All dogs must be at least one year of age, be fully house broken, up to date on all shots and must have had flea treatment within 30 days of the guests check in date.
Fresh linens & bath towels are provided by a linen service. A required linen fee applies. Beds are not made prior to arrival. We do not provide beach towels.
We make sure there is toilet paper in each bathroom, and bags in the trash cans to start you off. We provide an amenity starter package with a roll of paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper, small bottles of dish soap, hand soap, lotion, etc., and coffee packet for one pot. We do not provide enough of these amenities for your entire stay.
• A signed rental agreement and valid ID are required for all reservations.
• This is a non-smoking house. Smoking is permitted on the decks. Tenants agree to do so responsibly.
• Events are not permitted on the property.
• Parking is provided for up to six (6) vehicles. No additional parking is provided.
Our Cancellation Policy supersedes the no refund option provided by VRBO and is included on our rental agreement.
Should Tenant have to cancel for any reason, the Tenant must notify the Owner immediately in writing via email. Tenant acknowledges that cancellation by the Tenant does not relieve the Tenant from the specific terms of the Agreement. However, the Owner will make every effort to re-rent the Property for the specified period. If the Property is re-rented for the specified period, advanced rent payments will be refunded to the Tenant less any discounts/expenses required to re-rent and less the Travel Insurance Premium.
