About Schulzie Roland
I am a generational New Orleanian and the French side of my family has been in this amazing city for almost 300 years as part of the Founding Fathers of New Orleans. I love this city and its unique characteristics and care about your experience; I want you to have an amazing time in New Orleans; I genuinely care!... and I assure you this property can help facilitate that, the rest is up to you.
Schulzie Roland purchased this Apartment in 2004
Why Schulzie Roland chose Uptown and Carrolton District
The property was built in 1875 after the Civil War and has only change ownership 5 times in that time period. It boasts 14 ft ceilings, hard wood floors, amazing outdoor spaces, beautiful landscaping, modern day luxuries, and an absolutely brilliant location.
What makes this Apartment unique
The home is decorated to the period of the late 1800s with French and English antiques, but combines that respect for the era with the need for modern day luxuries, technology, and comforts. She is the perfect cocktail.

Amesome experience. Beautiful home and neighborhood.
Wonderful Experience in NOLA
We enjoyed Schulzie’s house as much as we enjoyed NOLA. Schulzie is a fantastic host. Her hospitality is the epitome of the spirit of New Orleans. From the time I got in touch with Schulzie enquiring about renting her house, everything was impeccable executed. The reservation, check in and check out instructions, tips on the neighborhood offerings and general advice were great. Schulzie was available when needed but more importantly not intrusive. She respected our privacy and courteous enough to advise us of the arrival of other guests in the apartment upstairs. We could not have asked for a better hostess for our first trip to New Orleans. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed New Orleans more importantly the comfort and convenience of Schulzie’s house. Schulzie, we would like to return soon!!!!!
A wonderful Garden District experience
We rented the downstairs portion of Schulzie’s lovely home for a week, and our New Orleans experience would not have been nearly as special if we had stayed anywhere else. My wife and I were treating our Mom’s to a bit of time with their granddaughter before she went back to school in Japan. The house was the perfect place for our family gathering.
Every morning began with fresh bread and pastries in the sunroom, all provided by a bakery that is just a few blocks away. Every evening we had the option of walking back from the dozens of amazing restaurants in the surrounding neighborhood. Those walks were a wonderful experience to share with our moms thanks to the architecture, landscaping and live oaks that line St. Charles. The home is very spacious, beautifully decorated and located in the most beautiful part of New Orleans. What more could you ask for?
Our oldest son lives in New Orleans and we have visited the city many times, but staying in a mansion on St. Charles took our New Orleans experience to a whole new level. We know where we will be staying every time we return to the. Big Easy.
Wonderful girls weekend!
We had the absolute best time here! Location is perfect! Beds are extremely comfortable and overall charm is amazing! Will be back for sure.
All was great
This was our second time and the host could not have been more kind and hospitable. We’d be so glad to stay again.
