Nestled into the hillside, surrounded by a stunning tranquil mountain outlook. Unobstructed views up to Mt Isobel with a short, easy walk to conical hill and the village.
Acheron House is a 3 bedroom home that suits the whole family. Plenty of room for the all in this alpine village chalet.
This home offers plenty of space. Open plan with two living spaces, both with TV's. One with Freeview, the other a Smart TV with Netflix, Lightbox etc (use your own account). Indoor/Outdoor flow lead to a wraparound deck. Perfect for your morning coffee or evening wine to soak in the surrounding views. Pet friendly garden with little chance of escape. Kennel provided under the deck.

New Year Visit

Great spot with fantastic alpine/forest outlook in relaxed quiet neighborhood. Easy access to Conical Hill walk and whole visit enhanced by beautiful Summer days. Host was very responsive which was appreciated. Regards, Jeremy & Family.

Loved the fire and views were amazing. Unfortunately two of the bedrooms had power points that didnt work. No tv downstairs as advertised on here.

Weekend in Hammer

Awesome trip and lovely location. Great access to walks and not far from town. Snow on the hills but the house was warm and cosy.

Long weekend

Great cabin in the mountains. Spacious and clean, secure yard for dogs and garage for bikes. Will definitely rent anytime we go to Hanmer. Basically ideal for our family of 5 and 2 Yorkies.

Epic holiday

Quiet and peaceful part of Hanmer with epic views. Plenty of space for us and the doggos with a secure garden for them to explore. Recommend this property as it is one of the best we have stayed in!

We (Tony and Pauline) spent a short time of our (before marriage and children) lives living here in Hanmer Springs and fell in love with the village and its people.
It has always been a dream of ours to own a home here and share this stunning place with all visitors.
Not only did we come back to Hanmer to share our engagement with the locals (and drag all our family and friends here) but we also got married here in the Hanmer forest, looking out onto Squirrel Lake.
Go and enjoy the forest walks, crazy putt, bikes, boutique shopping, the many cafes and restaurants and of course the famous Hanmer Springs hot pools.
Most importantly - Relax and enjoy your stay.
