We are situated five minutes drive from the Medieval town of Sarlat la Caneda in the Perigord Noir. Close enough to be convenient for all of the facilities of the town but far enough out for peace and tranquility.
The master sleeping area is off the main living area through an arch which has net curtains but no door. This area is equipped with a king size double bed which can be split into two singles if required. The main living area is open plan and leads via a sliding door on to the patio with stunning views. It is well equipped with a kitchen area, including a clothes washing machine and a washing up machine. A second bedroom gives access to the shower room and thus this property is suitable for a couple or a family of four. A separate toilet leads off the main living area,
The large patio includes an area for barbecue and is ideal for outdoor dining.
The area is steeped in history stretching back into prehistory with the French National Museum of Prehistory a short drive away in the neighbouring small town of Les Elyzes, Sarlat itself has a charming Medieval center and is well worth a a visit.
Many activities are avialable locally from balloon trips to visits to Chateau.
