Villa in La Marina, Alicante, Costa Blanca, Spain. Stunning detached villa with private pool comfortably furnished to make your dream holiday a perfect memory. Villa Kaya is located in a residential area close to all amenities including many restaurants, bars serving English and international cuisine with great evening entertainments. Local supermarkets selling English, German, Dutch and Spanish produce, banks, clinic, and open air market every Thursday and Sunday about 5 minutes walk from the house. Accommodation comprises of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Master bedroom opens on to a balcony that captures the panoramic views of the seacoast and towns. Large roof top solarium a perfect place to relax either in the sunshine in total privacy or enjoy the evening breeze in stunning surrounding views. The lounge/dining area is beautifully furnished offering satellite TV and opens on to a large balcony overlooking the 8x4m pool. A separate well equipped kitchen.

Needs updating and cleaning

We were all very disappointed with the state of the villa, it was very dirty, the bath was blocked when showering and it took a long time for the water to go down the plug. All the outside cushions were extremely stained, we did turn them over but there were stains on the other side, the cups were all cracked and heavily stained, the freezer needed defrosting and was filthy, the freezer door had a hole in it with the insulation falling out, the downstairs bed was slanted and we realised the next day it looked broken, the bedding was dirty and stained, the pillows were yellow, the skirting boards were dirty, the towels were extremely warn and again stained and had an odour. I have emailed the owner twice with photos but have had no response, on returning my sister has had to go to the doctors for treatment as she suffers with allergies and couldn’t sleep while we were there, her face had flared up and she was given a strong antihistamines, steroid cream and sleeping pills! Not the best result. We had such a busy schedule and taxis pre booked that we had to stick it out, we just avoided being there as much as we could.

10 day stay

We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was great to have some wonderful restaurants with in walking distance. The pool was fantastic which we all enjoyed. It pool was cleaned twice in our 10 day stay. We would suggest getting a car if you have children. So many fun things too do within sort drives away. We would definitely return. The villa had everything you needed but was a little more tired the the photos suggested but that wouldnt stop us returning.
