Paradise in Valldemossa!
I rented Villa Majestic so we could gather our family to celebrate my retirement. A relative had stayed there a few years ago and loved it. It was just perfect for us. The location is fabulous; wonderful views of the town and the mountains, and a 5-10 minute walk into town, or a two-minute drive. The villa is spectacular. We spent most of our time in the pool and on the lovely covered deck overlooking it and we loved grilling for dinner. There is nothing I would change and Magdelena was very accommodating for our requests. The photos are accurate, but the pool area is even more beautiful! We bought groceries at the large Carrefour in Palma on the way up, but there's a small grocery store in Valldemossa that had just about everything we needed throughout the week. I can't imagine staying anywhere better - you won't be disappointed! Thanks for a wonderful week!
Excellent villa very large well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. Location being 400 metres up in the hills made it cooler than down on the cost. Short walk into Valldemossa which is a lovely town with plenty of cafes and restaurants . Access to the villa via a fairly steep drive and steps may be a problem for some, enormous garage but tricky entrance unless you have a small car. Perhaps could have done with a towel, clean and bedding change half way through our eleven days. Road noise evident during morning and evening “rush hour” but only if you out on the terrace. Overall a very nice villa and location , would certainly return.
Lovely stay easy walk into Valldemossa great views
bikers paradise house
Great house for 5 active couples.
Kitchen works awesome and lot's of space to enjoy the patio and pool.
Nice bed and bathrooms, lot's of storage.
Great garage to keep your bikes.
House was very clean. Mathilda is super nice and we enjoyed her wine.
Thank you for you kind comments.
We are pleased that you had a lovely holiday and enjoyed our property
Hope to see you again. Take care
Amazing villa, lived up to all expectations
Great location, very easy to find, only 25 minutes drive from the airport. The villa itself was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Due to holiday being in late October the pool was cold but still OK for the hardy. We travelled with a group of all ages and there was plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing. The owner was very hospitable and immediately resolved the small issues we had with bulbs out. We would thoroughly recommend this villa and would certainly rebook if we came back to Mallorca.
Valdemossa is a beautiful location and we could walk into the town in 10-15 minutes. Plenty of places for a drink, evenings not so many but this may of been due to the time of year. There is a well equipped supermarket and several bakeries.
Thank you for choosing our property, we hope to see you again soon.
Superb Villa, safe path for 10 min walk into the village of Valldemossa
We had a wonderful stay, lovely view, very private. Outside area for sitting and dining, gorgeous pool.
Hostess very welcoming, gracious and helpful. Good location close to the village, full of restaurants, coffee shops and a well stocked grocery shop. Thank you very much.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review.
Hope to see you again sometime
The Village of Valldemossa is one of the most sought after areas in Mallorca. Lots of history within this small village, only 10 minutes drive to the Port of Valldemossa, walking, cycling and sightseeing or just relaxing in this beautiful village. Only 17km to Palma centre. Valldemossa is in a elevated location, looking down into the valley and surrounded by the Tramontana mountain range, filled with olive, almond trees and leafy vegetation. The narrow, lofty streets of Valldemossa offer a special enchantment. The native house of Saint Catherine is conserved in the town. The ancient monastery, Cartuja, originally a royal residence, was inhabited by the Carthusian monks from 1399 until their expulsion in 1835 due to the secularisation of church property. During the winter of 1838-1839 Frederick Chopin and George Sand lived in this monastery, their stay is still well remembered today. Chopin once said 'this is the most beautiful place in the world!'
Golf: Golf lovers - Son Termens golf course is approx a 15 minute drive away this is ranked amongst the most ecological in Europe, the village is also within half an hours drive of 5 other courses.
