Why Alison Keefe, Dalmatian Property Management chose Okrug Gornji
Our valued client owns this lovely apartment that we look after.

The property was the right size for our needs but was a bit dusty, we were probably the first people in it for a while. We struggled to work out how to get hot water, it wasn’t clear. The kitchen could have a pair of scissors in the drawer, as you can’t carry them on a plane.
It would have been helpful if there had been local information in the flat , like nearest shop, bus times etc. We really enjoyed the fact it was out of season but that meant we had less information in the locality.
We really enjoyed our stay and will visit your beautiful country again
We are very happy that Chistine enjoyed her stay but are sorry to hear that the apartment was a little dusty on arrival and that the scissors were missing. We leave a note in all our apartments that a guest should contact us immediately with any complaints as we very much want to fix them instantly. It seems that the cleaner had spring cleaned a few days before but had left the windows slightly open to air the apartment and this was how some dust came in. We are surprised to hear there was a problem with the hot water as Christine was in our office during her holiday and didn't mention this problem, again we would have liked to hear from her on her arrival if this was a problem. The hot water is controlled by a switch beside the light switch to the bathroom. Myself and my staff are always on hand to assist with any problems or give any information a guest may need.
Great flat with a great view in a great location
This is a lovely flat with lovely facilities. We stayed with our daughter in a very hot week in July. The air con makes it a lovely cool place to come back to. The flat is really comfortably furnished inside and ideal for a couple or small family. The balcony is a lovely place for meals and simply soaking up the wonderful view of the sea and distant islands. Its about a 2 minute walk down the hill to be able to access the sea from diving platforms and ladders on the rocks. And about 5 minutes to a lovely beach with a mix of shade and sun. Its about 1 minute to a diving school if diving is your thing. There is a supermarket a few minutes drive away. The apartment is on the quiet side of town and its just a few minutes back by car to the 'tourist strip' of beaches, beach bars and pedaloes etc. Lots of fun not far away but the apartment feels a world away from the buzz of that. Its a 20minute drive back to Trogir which is full of winding streets, shops, bars and restaurants. We had a really great holiday here and left feeling like there was much more to explore and that we could happily spend much more time swimming off the rocks and beaches nearby. Recommended.
The apartment is located in Okrug Gornji on the island of Čiovo. Čiovo is connected to the mainland by a bridge. Come in the high season of July and August and you'll find Čiovo vibrant with life with holidaymakers from all over Europe.
During the day enjoy the local beaches, water sports and the beach side cafe bars and restaurants.
Visit Trogir Old Town and enjoy wandering along the quaint cobbled alleyways and shopping in the many jewelry and arts and craft shops. Alternatively rent a car and explore the natural beauty and scenery of the island,
Split is another UNESCO World Heritage city and is just 30 km away and a visit to the 1700 year old Diocletian's Palace is highly recommended.
For a quieter holiday come in May/June or September/October.
Čiovo is a great base from which to visit other places like the beautiful Krka National Park and Skradin. And 40 mins north along the beautiful coast road north lies Primosten, a beautiful ancient 'island' town almost entirely surrounded by water.
