About this property

Monarch Beach Zen Condo

Lovely two bedroom two bath upgraded condo at Ritz Point. Enjoy the Beach access through the Monarch Beach Resort, a 20 minute walk through the middle of the attached golf course to the beautiful Strand, Salt Creek and Monarch Beaches. We have beach chairs, an umbrella with sand stake, beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys, ice chest and a wagon to help make the walk to the beach easier.

Our home is located on the garden level (one stair level below the parking lot, not handicap assessable) with easy access to the outside green area from three rooms through sliding glass doors. There is a small patio with outside dining table & BBQ as well as an inside dining area. This is a safe enclosed neighborhood, located in a security gated community conveniently close to Laguna Beach, Dana Point harbor, stores and restaurants. We have two bedrooms both with queen beds and a sleeper couch in the living room. Sleeps 6, maximum occupancy 6 .

Our home is best suited for couples and families, we consider our guests extended family and do our best to provide a welcoming vacation experience.

Our home is registered and licensed with the City of Dana Point and has a current permit for short term rentals. There is a 10% TOT tax required by the City. Permit#STR16-0455

Nice, secure little condo near the beach.
Nice, clean, well-equipped 2 BRM, 2 BTH condo not too far from the beach. Be aware it is on the bottom level of a 3 story building & you need to take stairs down to it. No real ocean view. Great little beach down the hill, Salt Creek with park with walking trails. Nice pool area, but fitness center/gym was closed for renovation :( Lots of great places to eat nearby.

Great Stay in Dana Point!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. Very quiet, but only minutes from restaurants, golf, the beach, etc. Pictures are very accurate, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. The hot tub and patio area overlooking the ocean, golf course, and homes was easily worth the price of admission. We will look forward to returning.

needs: the home needs more dining seating. chef knives, wine glasses were just not good,
This is a very good home. Does not have enough dining seating. chef knifes were a challenge and the wine glasses are just not good. The whole kitchen utensils felt like odds and ends. I would not publish this next comment...the drop off from the outside patio to the ground has the potential of someone getting hurt!!! This needs to be addressed ASAP. I am only saying this to help the landlord. We stay in this complex twice a year for the last 4 years and I do not want anyone getting hurt and the landlord liable.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because the area is beautiful. Being by the beach brings us both peace. Dana Point has good weather all year which is great for bike riding, paddle boarding, hiking and kayaking.

What makes this property unique

Our home is located on the Garden level one level down via stairs from parking lot level to our front door. Our unit faces away from the parking lot views with easy access to the outside green areas, although no ocean views. The patio area is a cozy place to BBQ and gather with family. Please note when making your vacation plans in Dana Point that the city requires all vacation rentals to have a current permit posted #STR16-0455
