About this property

La Torre Resort is built around a golf course with wide tree-lined boulevards and resort security. Our apartment is a spacious 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment on the top (third) floor which has a light & airy feel, with private balcony, large sun terrace and storage room for cases & golf clubs. The apartment is only available for non-smokers.

We offer free Wi-Fi Internet plus a numbered space in the underground garage with lift direct to the apartment.

The balcony overlooks the gardens & swimming pools and faces north. The terrace runs alongside the apartment and has views to the gardens and swimming pools, plus views south to the driving range and far mountains. Tables and chairs for al fresco dining are provided on both the balcony and terrace, together with loungers. We also provide folding chairs which can be taken to the pool.

The apartment is across the road from the Golf Clubhouse, and just a short walk to the resort centre, which has a choice of restaurants and bars, a hair salon and ATM. There is also a large supermarket at the entrance to the resort.

Also situated at La Torre is the DoubleTree by Hilton La Torre Golf & Spa Resort Hotel which is located a short walk from the apartment, and has a further restaurant, plus further facilities.

The local village of Roldan is a 20 minute walk, or a short drive away, and offers a very wide choice of restaurants, bars and shops. Some of the restaurants offer transport to their restaurants during the evening and takeaways can be delivered to the apartment!
Our apartment overlooks 2 swimming pools and a toddler pool/jacuzzi, but elsewhere on the resort there are multiple swimming pools. tennis and padel courts.

Staying from October to May the apartment offers a quiet relaxing time with dry sunny days - excellent weather for golf.

July and August are great for holidaymakers with restaurants and bars open, the occasional market in the town centre and added entertainment for children and adults. La Torre Resort is centrally situated in the region of Murcia, just 20 minutes from amazing beaches & watersports of the Mar Menor. It is also an ideal centre for exploring the surrounding countryside, visiting historic sites & attending local fiestas and markets. Additional outings and events are organised by the La Torre community and advertised on the La Torre website.

During the day, guests are met on arrival at La Torre and taken to the apartment. A lock-safe is available for out-of-hours arrivals.

The apartment is registered and has a Murcia tourist licence. An extra 75 euros will be due on arrival to cover apartment preparation, key handover and laundry.

Lovely penthouse apartment

We stayed for 5 weeks in Dec-Jan and would happily return again. Great location and wonderful outdoor space including a terrace facing south which had winter sun on it until 3pm. Great communication with the host and their local property managers. Highly recommended.

Smell

Location was ideal for us. Terrace was big with nice view to innner complex area. However there was a bad smell inside when came. Like smoking inside or a smell from a burned electrical applience. We ventilated the place a lot and washed inner surfaces but did not get rid of it completely.

Lovely Apartment

Nothing to criticize,the whole holiday from pick up at the Airport by the property manager Rob to the return trip was spot on. Apartment was lovely, very well equipped, everything spotless, a credit to Ann the owner and again to Rob the property manager, we even managed a birdie and a few pars on the golf course, but I wont mention the lost balls! The town cen Highly recommended

My husband Chris and I live in Shropshire and have 2 sons and three lovely grandchildren. We are semi-retired, and get across to Spain at least twice a year.

Why they chose this property

The Costa Calida has one of the warmest all year climates in Spain. Our apartment is just 20 mins from the coast and 30 mins up into the mountains. It is also in a central location with easy access to Murcia city and the historic port of Cartegena. La Torre Golf Resort has wide open boulevards, pretty landscaping and onsite amenities, together with a 5* hotel offering spa facilities, gym and Wellness Centre. We chose the apartment because it is so light and airy, it's close to the resort centre and has an amazing amount of private outside space..

What makes this property unique

Our penthouse apartment is extremely private, neither the balcony nor the large, L-shaped sun terrace are overlooked. The apartment balcony is north-facing which provides welcome shade in the hottest months of the year, but being on the third floor we get a lovely amount of light and sun. We also have a large sun terrace which overlooks the pools and gardens to the north, and the driving range and golf course to the south, plus a storage room off the terrace, which is ideal for guests to store luggage or golf clubs during their stay.
The apartment is fully air-conditioned and has radiator heating throughout, so is ideal all year round.
We furnished it to be comfortable for us and this has been much appreciated by our guests.
The apartment is located just a 2-minute walk from the resort centre.
The supermarket and a choice of restaurants and bars are open all year round.
We find it very relaxing and peaceful every time we go there. It's an ideal place to unwind, but there is plenty going on in the area if you want it.
