About this property

Our countryside property is situated in the small hamlet of La Poulaillerie which is 2km from the nearest village of Vandre. We are 30-40 minutes from the historical port of La Rochelle and the beaches of Chatelaillon Plage. The islands of Ile de Re and Ile de Oleron are within reach also Royan, Cognac and Saintes are worth a visit. Ideal for a relaxing family holiday and a good location for walking, cycling, fishing and sailing. We have installed a heated pool and large enclosed patio area which is separate from the main south facing garden.

La Poulallerie

Lovely property, had everything we wanted. Great for families. Pool ideal and as it was very hot, used a lot every day. Hosts went above and beyond. .

Superb holiday

Location of La Poulaillerie is super. Calm and green environment. Tracey and Phil are very nice people. The house is very nice and you have everything you need to have a very good stay. What pleased us most where the three terraces so during the day you always have a shady place. The heated wimming pool is most certainly a plus as was used every day. Thanks Tracey and Phil for this super holiday.
