- Notes on accommodation: Mamas & Papas Cot, junior child's bed suitable up to age 6/7 and High Chair is available should this be needed. Own linen is preferable for these. Plus there is an additional occasional bed for the Ground Floor Apartment if required. Outside: No outside or garden facilities attached to the apartments

- 50% refund (minus the service fee) if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.

I came to Scarborough from Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands in 1979 because I felt that it was a beautiful environment to explore and enjoy, especially for a family. We had holidayed here for some years before and were thoroughly at home with the beach, Dalby Forest and The Wolds. Scarborough people are very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home instantly. With my career as a Beauty and Complementary Therapist I made a lot of friends very quickly. My husband, David, is originally from Middlesbrough, went to Wolverhampton College to study photography, lived for some time in High Wycombe but came to Scarborough for all the same reasons. He retired last year from the local daily newspaper to enjoy his photography and freelance at leisure. Scarborough is the perfect place to do it.

Scarborough town centre and the beach are also only 3-5 minutes away along with the many areas for walks and well-tended parks in South Cliff. Perfect if you only want a short walk and view. It is on the main bus route to Filey and the Wolds and close to the A64 so you can explore the surrounding areas from Whitby to Pickering and York to Bridlington,... an ideal location for holidays.
