About this property

COVID cancellation policy: change your booking for free to the next year same time if your government does not allow you to travel. This nice villa is situated in Quinta das Salinas, between Vale de Lobo en Quinta do Lago. The villa has sea view, a large garden and a private salt water swimming pool which can be heated (additional costs €150 p.w.) and jacuzzi (energy costs additional) The wifi is excellent and also works on the terrace part, close to the house. The salt water pool can be fenced off for small children. The villa has 1 masterbedroom upstairs, 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and 1 au-pairroom with bathroom in the basement.
The villa is very comfortable and completely furnished with a dining kitchen, fully equipped (with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, nespresso coffee-maker, toast maker, mixer etc). In the pantry you will find a washing machine, a drying machine and an extra refrigerator. The villa is equipped with hot-air heating, which means that it is comfortable in every season. The beach is located at walking distance of 10 min. and shops and restaurants are nearby. The well-known fish restaurant "2 Passos" is located at the beach of Praia do Ancão. The famous golf courses of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo can be reached by car within 10 minutes. São Lorenzo Golf, Pinheiros Altos Golf Course. All 5 bathrooms have been renewed recently.
The basement au-pair room with own bathroom is included in the price but is not as nice as the other rooms.

A disappointing stay

We had a disappointing stay and ended up leaving a day early. We had to move our kids into the same bedroom as one room had ants all over it. The grounds of the property were piles of dirt with no grass (not like the images), and we had random people coming in (builders /gardeners) throughout the trip looking at the property without anyone letting us know. So we felt like we couldn't leave the kids alone in the garden as a result. I wasn't going to write this but I've since discovered we were charged for heating the jacuzzi when we specifically said in correspondence we didn't want it and didn't touch it at all during our stay. Overall a very disappointing trip and I wouldn't recommend it.

Great Holiday

Just returned from a great week at Casa Elefanti. The house is in a brilliant location and close to everything that Quinta Da Lago has to offer. Monique was excellent and always available if needed.

Perfect in every way

We absolutely love this villa it has everything you could possibly need and in a great location near the lake. It is beautifully decorated and cared for and the owners and staff were a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely stay again!

Very nice villa but rude owner

The villa was as described and the pictures are exactly like the house. But the owner was very rude in her emails and we really didn't feel welcome at all. It really ruined our second week of holidays. Wouldn't recommend this villa.

This property was the first to be build in Quinta das Salinas. It has a much bigger garden/property and gives more privacy. Next to that, the villa is very suitable for families with (small) children because of the pool fence, optional water slide, and au pair room in the basement with private bathroom.
The interior of the house has been updated with nice furniture and new bathrooms. And a new jacuzzi is added
