I brought my wife and 4 boys and had an AWESOME time! Perfect location and was one of the best vacations ever! Beautiful place in trendy area with plenty of space! Well stocked kitchen. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone considering. If you are on the fence JUMP over and book this place before it's gone! We will be back for sure!
Great place but 5 stories
True to its description
Right in middle of very busy neighborhood, surrounded by food options, close to three tube stations, this lovely contemporary flat was surprisingly quiet. Comfortable sitting room, big dining table, Three great beds, four toilets, two great showers .... connected with MANY steps. Could have been better furnished ... pain to have to go out to buy toilet paper. Could have been cleaner, especially behind the doors of sleek white cabinetry.
Great location and beautifully decorated!
The property is very nice. The location is very central. The only downside is the line that forms outs the front door ( For the restaurant, “The Breakfast Club”) is annoying and because the property is fitted with traditional old single glazed windows, the people outside the door sound as if they’re in your flat.
A simple guide on how to use the
microwave should be added to the booklet that is already made explaining the rest of the property.
The property was very nicely decorated and the owners were very responsive to our needs.
Had a wonderful stay over Christmas
In the interest of providing a fair review I will address what some people have seen as negatives although none of these impacted on our wonderful stay or my rating of the property.
We were met at Britannia House by Samuel and Mathew who were friendly and showed us around the property.
The location is perfect and in the middle of vibrant Soho. Yes, there is a pub on the corner and you may hear them playing music at night. They were playing awesome Beatles music one night. You are walking distance to all the main shopping areas of London, surrounded by great cafes and restaurants and you’re in the middle of two tube lines that will take you all over London.
Each bedroom is on a separate floor as well as the kitchen being in the basement so there are a lot of stairs. Put the fittest people on the top floor! It’s true, the bathroom on the first floor doesn’t have a shower but the other two bathrooms are accessible if the first floor people want a shower, without having to go into the other bedrooms, and it was not an issue for us.
The wifi was sketchy at times but we coped with playing games and talking to each other!
The kitchen diner is spacious and nicely appointed and it was so great to be able to cook and eat our Christmas Eve dinner in there. We had to drink our wine out of water glasses...but who cares!! We were there to have a wonderful family Christmas together in the beautiful City of London, and we did!
Location! Location! Location!
The location can't be beat for getting to all of the fun, hip and historic places in London. The management was responsive and professional throughout from the reservation process to the questions mid-stay to the prompt return of the deposit. I would recommend this property.
With it's amazing central London location (W1F - Google it!), this perfectly located house is brilliantly positioned for a 'see-it-all' London visit. It’s a 2-min WALK to Oxford Street shops, grocery stores, supermarkets, some of London's best restaurants, outdoor food-markets, River Thames, Oxford Circus Tube (underground) & 24-hour taxis, buses, car rental & bike hire. It’s a 16-min walk to Buckingham Palace, Tate Modern, Lambeth Palace, Westminster Cathedral, West End theatres, cinemas, St James Park, Victoria Station, with easy rail/coach links to Heathrow, Gatwick & Europe. It’s a 22-min walk to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, the King's Road/Chelsea. Short tube/bus rides take you direct to Harrods, the major Museums, Piccadilly Circus, the City, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, the National Gallery, the Imperial War Museum, the Festival Hall, Shakespeare’s Globe, the National Theatre & National Film Theatre, Hayward Gallery, IMAX, Waterloo Station, Tate Britain.
