About Di Collins or Ray Garnett.
We are a friendly sociable couple who fell in love with Albufeira, especially the old town square and surrounding area, with it's many bars and restaurants. We have adult children and a Grandchild so we fully understand the needs of all age groups.
Di Collins or Ray Garnett. purchased this Villa in 2014
Why Di Collins or Ray Garnett. chose Patroves
We bought our Villa as our holiday home and our second home when we retire. Inthe meantime we wish to share it with others and hope and are sure, they will get the same enjoyment from it, as we do. We especially love the country walks and the tranquillity but also the fact it is only a short, inexpensive taxi ride into the hussle and bussle of the Marina and Old Town. We live and work in a village in West Yorkshire, but are not far from Leeds and Huddersfield, so we are very fortunate that we can enjoy country or city life in either of our homes.
What makes this Villa unique
It's Perfect location, in the country side but within easy access to all local amenities. The Villa is on the flat making walks or bike rides not too taxing. For those on a limited budget, the bus stops are a short walk away. It is possible to walk to the Mariana or beach but both take about 30 minutes.

4 day and night stag with 21 guests - Fantastic villa and great time had by all
Overall experience was phenomenal! Would highly recommend this villa for any stag or hen. (I can also see how it would be good for big family holidays so suitable for both).
The Villa - very spacious, clean and lots to do within. Pool table and table tennis table offer good fun, it’s own bar area (stock yourself of course) but booze isn’t too expensive at supermarket and you can borrow a trolley for 30 euros then return for your money back. the owners kindly put a bottle of Prosecco in a fridge along with a beer for everyone for our arrival which was a nice touch. Villa has a nice big pool area and a large living room. More than enough sun beds and seating all over the villa. Full kitchen with everything you need. 4 fridges and 1 freezer provide plenty space for food and drink for 21 people. 4 rooms downstairs and 4 upstairs mostly with twin beds and all spacious enough for taking cases in and opening up. 2 toilets up and down all with showers was fine for our big group. Villa also has a nice balcony with deck chairs for avid sun tanners. Finally, we made good use of the bbq as the supermarket does meat platters ready for bbq use and bulk buying. Food was also very very good.
The Villa is very secure and has shutters that come down when you leave covering all the glass windows and doors. There is also an outer gate that locks and some rooms have safes.
Location - short taxi ride to strip and not expensive when shared. Short trip to other group activities (we did paintball, clay pigeon shooting and surfing)
20 minute walk to a fantastic tapas restaurant which is fair priced would highly recommend. 1 minute walk to a supermarket that has everything you need for your stay. Not much around the villa itself meaning you can make lots of noise and not worry about disturbing people. We were encouraged to make as much noise as we liked haha
If you are visiting for a stag or hen the strip has loads of bars and clubs for partying but the villa is also great for a house party with all that it has. Lots of space for everyone to gather outside the bar area and play beer pong or other party games.
Would highly recommend this place is fantastic for a variety of needs. Will seriously consider returning in the future. Well worth the money you pay for it even if at first glance you think it’s expensive. Just go for it. You won’t regret it.
Amazing property, we absolutely loved it
Everything went so smoothly!! We were really well looked after, so this comes with the highest recommendation!! Amazing property, amazing area, they give you all the details for the best taxi firms, to the best places to visit, as well as the place itself having so many activities to keep you busy, from pool, to table tennis, to an amazing private bar area! So so glad we found this property!! Amazing!!
Perfect for a group
We hired this villa to celebrate several ladies 50th’s
The villa was spacious inside and out with plenty of dining seating to all sit & eat together. Four bedrooms on each floor along with 2 bedrooms, showers were always hot and very powerful.
Sunbeds for all around the pool.
Local taxi service always courteous and generally within 10 m8ns would drive, about 2 euros per person.
Supermarket 200yds away, only downfall they won’t let you carry shopping back in a trolley, would be useful to have some trolley bags (like our name used) at the villa for the big shops.
Kevin the property manager very informative and happy to return next day due to use locking ourselves out of a safe.
Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day.

The supermarket used to let guests borrow the trolleys, I will ask Kev to call in and ask if it’s possible for future to guests to do this... So thanks for that feed back it’s very useful 😎
Stay from 13 to 27 April 2019
Lovely house in our favourite location. Unfortunately we had the poorest spell of weather in our 25 years of visiting Algarve but there is plenty of entertainment in the house and fabulous local restaurants. Special thanks to local manager Kev who was super helpful.
Thanks for your review... Really sorry the weather wasn’t good but glad you had a good time despite that 😎
Spacious, great owners, great location
