Cottage in Rothesay, Isle of Bute, Strathclyde (Inc. Islands), - Peaceful Location Within Easy Walking Distance Of Town Centre, A Few Paces To Sea Front
Helen and Allison are mother and daughter, we live on the island and have recently purchased Bogany Cottage. We have really enjoyed spending time and effort furnishing it to a very high standard. We shall be managing the holiday lettings ourselves and will be on hand to make sure that our clients have a holiday to remember.
Helen purchased this Cottage in 2014
Why Helen chose Rothesay
We fell in love with everything about the cottage from its location to the lay- out internally. The location is great, quiet and within easy walking distance of the centre of Rothesay. The views are excellent and it is well situated for exploring the island.
What makes this Cottage unique
The cottage is warm and cosy. The under-floor heating is very efficient with individual thermostats in every room, there is also the advantage of the log burner. The combined sitting room and kitchen, with vaulted ceiling, make this a very sociable arrangement. Good sized, fully enclosed garden with garden furniture and bbq. It is excellent for outside dining in the summer and very child friendly. There is ample private parking for several cars.

Lovely cottage great location views beautiful.
Beautiful, warm & cozy little holiday cottage with great views!
Just what the doctor ordered for a few days away for the three us on Rothesay. The property was clean and warm. Excellent views to watch the ferries go by and watch the sunset. Property was also nice and quiet. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure ... next time must bring the dog as he'd love the long walks along the front.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. We would be delighted to welcome you back to the cottage.

Cosy cottage with gorgeous views
Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay on Bute in this lovely cottage. A short easy journey from the ferry and easy access to the rest of the island. Clean and comfortable, light and warm. Couldn’t fault it! Helen responded very quickly to all enquiries and can thoroughly recommend!
Beautiful views and great location
The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We were lucky to have beautiful weather and so we spent the weekend cycling around Bute and exploring. Coming back to cook at the house while watching the boats go past in the lovely harbour topped the days off nicely! Great location to walk right into Rothesay along the waterfront.
This cottage is the perfect place for exploring Bute. It's good looking both inside and out. Is close to the ferry, the view is great, it's warm and welcoming (as is its owner). There are comfortable beds, a decent shower (and a bath), snuggly sofas, good kitchen etc, etc. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Bute.
Would love to stay again and did not want to leave!
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review, it is much appreciated and a pleasure to meet you. We do hope that you will return to the cottage again in the near future.
