Second visit to this beautiful apartment

The apartment is stylish and well equipped and the location is perfect for the sites, shops and bars and restaurants in Trastevere. Also only a few minutes walk across the pedestrian bridge into the heart of Rome. The outdoor terrace is amazing, though we missed the swing seat which was not there on this, our second visit. The small elevator was also very useful. It's great to have an apartment which has two separate bedrooms and two large double beds! Two separate bathrooms are also a bonus. We arrived early and were allowed access to the apartment to leave our bags while the place was cleaned after the previous guests, which was very helpful. There is not a lot of hot water so the last of four people to shower does not have a very warm shower! And although there are bath tubs there is not enough hot water to take a bath. The en-suite bathroom could do with new grout and sealant as it looks tired now, and a bit mouldy. However, it would not put us off booking this apartment again in future.

Some good, some bad

The terrace has none of the furniture pictured. Needs at least an umbrella for when it is too sunny to be outside without one. There is no hot water to the shower/baths and this should be remedied asap. The hot water in the sinks works okay. I had to heat water in an electric kettle and then pour that water into the tub. Not acceptable. Many of the plugs don't work. The apartment feels like it needs a redo for the cost of the stay. It feels almost like a post college apartment. Many lamps didn't work, couldn't find bulbs. Kitchen stove needs directions. Door keys difficult. The building does have a M-F super who will help you unlock the door. Also the document from the rental company says the apartment has a washer. It does not. The neighborhood is great and the apartment was very quiet.

A very enjoyable stay in what is a fantastic part of the city.

Proximity to city yet quiet. Lovely balcony. Rooms were a good size. Beds comfortable. Instructions for arrival were clear. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the stay.
