Mike and Maria have been married for 47 years, and living in the UK. We have been to Kefalonia several times and fell in love with the island and decided to buy a property here. In 2014 we built a new cottage next door and is now available for holiday letting.
Why they chose this property
We decided to buy in this lovely village of Keramies as it is a traditional working village boasting two restaurants and a mini market. Both restaurants offer a choice of menu and serve traditional Greek food. We are a ten minute drive from the airport with the capital Argostoli a further ten minutes drive away.The area has some of the most beautiful sandy beaches and coves the Island has to offer all within a few minutes drive. The port of Pessada where you can take the daily ferry to Zante and the historic st. Georges castle is only a five minute drive. The location is ideal for walks or hiring a car/motor bike and searching out the wonderful sites the Island has to offer.
What makes this property unique
With the Cosmopolitan Argostoli only a ten minute drive away,it is the ideal location for visiting the many bars/restaurants, coffee bars and shops the capital has to offer.
As we live next door to the cottage we can offer a personal service while also being available to offer any support or advice you may require.
Maria and I are part of a turtle conservation group covering all aspects of turtle conservation on the Island including daily beach patrols to monitor and protect the turtle population of Kefalonia.
