A wonderful experience
We had a great, relaxing time at this wonderful cabin. The views are spectacular and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We will be back!
Wish we could have stayed longer
We arrived in the evening in the rain, and this was a great place to relax after a day of driving. The views were fantastic and the grill was fantastic for grilling the ribeye steaks we bought at the Fishtail Grocery only a few miles away. We spent a day hiking the East Rosebud Trail, and the grocery store was more than we expected. We only stayed two nights and wished we had been able to extend our stay.
Way Too Far From Yellowstone
Totally unaware that we would be almost 3 hours from Yellowstone! Other than that, very peaceful and beautiful.
Beautiful Views, Quite a Distance From Town
We loved staying at the Moose Cabin for a long weekend in the Red Lodge area for our friends' wedding! We slept 4 adults in the cabin and it was tight but not uncomfortable.
It was quite an odd surprise to walk immediately into the bedroom when you come in the door, which I could not tell from photos, but, again, not really an issue. There are 2 small dorm refrigerators, so be sure to bring a cooler if you're bringing lots of food.
The cabin is quite a distance from Red Lodge, so if you have a lot of activities planned in town this may not be the place for you. Fortunately, we only had 1 day we needed to be in town and enjoyed the other 2 full days at the cabin. We hiked Woodbine Falls, which is about a 40-minute drive from the cabin and a fairly easy hike that ends with a gorgeous waterfall.
Thanks for having us! We can't wait to come back. :)
Beautiful views, cozy cabin.
Sheri is an amiable host and very accommodating. There were three of us, me, my husband (both 69) and my sister-in-law (80). As it turned out, the loft, though beautifully appointed, was just not easy for any of our three seniors to negotiate. We used the sofa bed and enjoyed that instead. We had our large and friendly dog with us and he found plenty of room too. A lovely place, and we'd come again!
Great stay for sure
Perfect way to wind down after a 1400 mile drive to start our trip. Sheri checked in with us and gave us some great info on the area. My wife and I loved out visit and would definitely go back if we were in the area in the future.
On the way to Yellowstone National Park. Hiking trails ATV riding.
