About this property

This private 3 bedroom/2 bath home (plus 3/4 bath "Beach" shower in the garage) has a spacious open-floor plan with Living, Dining, Garden Room and Kitchen. The King Bedroom has private en suite shower/bath. There are two other bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with two twins. There is also a queen-sleeper sofa. Second full bath has shower over tub. Very handy additional shower bath in the garage for rinsing off sand from the beach. The tropical back garden patio is perfect for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Has a BBQ for grilling dinner. Only a block to the private access beach gate, then a 2-minute stroll through the dunes to the water. Half-block to fishing off the sea wall at the IntraCoastal Waterway. Stroll the beach north to Caladesi Island State Park and catch the ferry to visit another island nearby. Stroll the beach south to the bustling "beach scene" of the main Clearwater Beach area with volleyball, restaurants, live music and more.

Carlouel clearwater beach house

Close to private beach entrance, just a short walk. Beach is excellent in this area...large house offered lots of room for us. private driveway for our car. house was clean and well stocked, didn't lack for anything. enjoyed the backyard patio area as well. our yorkie loved wandering around back enclosed yard. We did walk to pier 60 and the downtown area from here , (but also uber readily available also).

Beach Time

The property is exactly as presented. It is dated but so are we . It had a comfortable 1960's feel ( glass block, colored tile ). We loved the mature variety of tropical plants and trees in the back yard. The neighborhood beach was one block away. It felt like our own private beach. We walked back and forth a couple of times a day. Property is in a quiet neighborhood although there is a lot of construction going , not next door, but a lot of truck traffic. It was a great stay .

charming home

The place was just like the photos, but better! The area was beautiful and quiet. An established neighborhood with a comfortable feel. Access to the beach was easy and we were close enough to either go to or pick up food from any of the downtown restaurants. The private beach was delightful. Communication with owner was quick and simple.

Lovely Beach Getaway!

We enjoyed our time here. The short walk to the beach was great! It’s a great place for families. We would definitely stay here again!

Growing up in Texas was wonderful. Lived in Europe 5 years and visited almost every castle and cathedral there. Came back to Texas and then to California for 5 years. Moved to Florida 28 years ago and love it! I could never live without the warm sunshine and the fabulous beach. Life is a vacation!

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is quiet and upscale with a mix of original homes and mega-mansions. The home is well-built with block construction and a tile roof. There is a circular drive for off-street parking. It is very close to the beach but not as expensive as Gulf-front property. It sits on an oversized 85 feet wide lot with oak trees and bamboo in the back garden which lends to a very tropical atmosphere.

What makes this property unique

There is a front-porch and a double-door entry. The floors are tile, carpet and plum-colored antique marble is in the Dining and Kitchen. The Garden Room is made of glass blocks. It is an oasis for the fast-paced life most live. It is located close by to one of the top-ranked beaches in America.
