3 Bedroom 2.5 Bath Fully-furnished Beach House
- english, german
Growing up in Texas was wonderful. Lived in Europe 5 years and visited almost every castle and cathedral there. Came back to Texas and then to California for 5 years. Moved to Florida 28 years ago and love it! I could never live without the warm sunshine and the fabulous beach. Life is a vacation!
Jennifer purchased this House in 1997
Why Jennifer chose Clearwater Beach
The neighborhood is quiet and upscale with a mix of original homes and mega-mansions. The home is well-built with block construction and a tile roof. There is a circular drive for off-street parking. It is very close to the beach but not as expensive as Gulf-front property. It sits on an oversized 85 feet wide lot with oak trees and bamboo in the back garden which lends to a very tropical atmosphere.
What makes this House unique
There is a front-porch and a double-door entry. The floors are tile, carpet and plum-colored antique marble is in the Dining and Kitchen. The Garden Room is made of glass blocks. It is an oasis for the fast-paced life most live. It is located close by to one of the top-ranked beaches in America.

Location location location! Great place to stay, we loved it!
Easy everything, getting to the property, getting in. A little dated but met our needs just fine. Hope to return next year.
The reason for 4 stars is the property could use some maintenance
Thank you for letting us enjoy your beach house! My wife an our 2 children had a wonderful time, the pink pearl met our expectations, nice spacious beach house short walk to beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you
Our stay at the PInk Pearl
Our family enjoyed our stay at the Pink Pearl. The livingroom/solarium area was a perfect place for the family to hang out. There was plenty of comfortable seating. The little children enjoyed running around in the back yard. We had no trouble using the Weber barbecue grill out back. We loaded up beach toys from the garage into the wheelbarrow provided for our trek to the beach. The beach was about two blocks away. The beach was private and very nice with clean powdery white sand.
The house was clean. I rated our stay 4 stars because there was a strong musty odor to the home. We became nose blind to the odor and were not affected by it, but some people have mold allergies so I thought that people should know about the smell.
Quiet location. Nice layout of house. Very comfortable, although a little outdated. House had a musty smell when we first entered. Yard and outside of the house needs quite a bit of upkeep/clean up. Overall, the property met our needs for our family of 6 adults and we were satisfied. Access to beach was a bit of a walk but the beach was clean and private.
We are glad your family of 6 adults enjoyed our beach house and found it to be very comfortable and to welcome in the New Year! Much better than multiple rooms at a hotel (and less costly)! Guests had departed earlier on the day of your arrival so perhaps the smell was something that had been cooked. The garden is lush and tropical and provides privacy for our guests. It is a wonderful place to have morning coffee. The beach is clean, quiet, private, uncrowded and only a block over to the water.
50s beach bungalow
This house is great for a casual family beach vacay. We appreciated the beach chairs, towels, beach toys (and fishing pole/bait bucket!) and wagon in the garage for our use. Made it so easy. We appreciated the outdoor patio to lounge and gather. The beach is a short 2 block walk, which was very convenient. The kitchen is sufficient, but just has the basics. You'll need to bring a hairdryer. Note this house was built in the mid-century and has 50s bathrooms, plumbing, electrical and lighting (dark!), but I think you'll still find it very comfortable and nostalgic.
Dear Meg, thanks so much for your wonderful review. Very glad you found the wagon, collection of beach toys and other extras so handy and fun for your family. This neighborhood is quite unique in its close proximity to both the Gulfshore beach and fishing from the Inland waterway seawall. Wonderful that you enjoyed the garden patio. Yes, the home is a mid-century bungalow, sturdily built and comfortable, designed to be a cool and soothing indoor space after the bright bustle of the beach. Thank you again for your stay and we look forward to hosting you and your family again soon.
Quiet and relaxing beach getaway!
The Pink Pearl house was perfect for our three generation family get together. There were five of us with the oldest being my 78 year old mother in law, and the youngest my 21 year old nephew. The house was very clean which was important to us, and their was plenty of space for privacy and quiet sleeping plus spaces to gather and visit. And we loved the beach! It was beautiful and not crowded. Both the beach and neighborhood were perfect for long family walks. We also liked being so close to lots of good restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!
We are very glad that your family enjoyed their visit here at beautiful Clearwater Beach! We try to make our beach houses as comfortable as possible so that your stay will be the very best! Now that you have experienced what it is like to have a home at our uncrowded natural beach (instead of a noisy, crowded hotel room) we hope you will come again soon!
This private home is located one block to the Gulf of Mexico and our fabulous uncrowded north end of Clearwater Beach (you will have private gated beach access). Walk south along the shore to the fun and bustling main beach or stay on the quieter, slow paced north end. The Pink Pearl Beach House is also located only a half block to the scenic IntraCoastal Waterway for fishing off the sea wall. The downtown area is a mile south with lively beach life, restaurants, shopping, boating and Pier 60.
