About Jeremy Thompson
We have lived in Tennessee our whole lives. My husband and I both grew up in Nashville. We met in high school and have been married for over 20 years. We also have three kids that keep us on our toes so any chance we get we try to take a vacation!!!!
Jeremy Thompson purchased this Chalet in 2015
Why Jeremy Thompson chose Smithville
This house caught our attention right away because of how at home we felt as soon as we saw it. Once all the renovations were complete it felt more like home than ever. With the amazing views this house offers, it makes it even harder to leave!! It is truly our Home Away From Home!

Excellent get away
They property was wonderful, and Jeremy was a pleasure to work with.
I absolutely recommend staying here!!
Jeremy was terrific to work with. The property was a little more remote, not a bad thing, than we expected. We spent mornings and evenings on the deck and had a beautiful day on the lake too . . . all in all, a great stay. Tony
Small leak in fridge, but very clean , nice view and convenient to the lake and dollar General. The only issue is the road getting to the cabin. It is narrow with sharp turns and if you have a boat it is not recommended that you bring it to the cabin . We just rented an overnight boat slip for $25.. There is no table to eat but if weather is nice you could eat on outside deck table. Also recommend you bring more bathroom towels and paper towels, garbage bags etc.
We enjoyed our stay.
There are a couple of recreation areas near the lake house. Hurricane Bridge Recreation Area and Floating Mill Recreation Area. Edgar Evins State Park is also in the area.
