Located in DC's historic Logan Circle, we literally own a piece of the Victorian-period history of our nation's capital. As modern-day pioneers in DC's Logan Circle neighborhood, this has been our home for almost three decades and we never plan to leave!
What makes this Apartment unique
We have seen the neighborhood through bad times and good, and its recent renaissance as a food, entertainment, and shopping destination, along with its very central location, makes it a fabulous place to live and to visit. Our home is on a quiet, leafy block, but just a stone's throw to the amazing energy of 14th and U Streets and their fabulous restaurants, cafes, theaters, bars, galleries and shopping. Along with the striking architecture of the Victorian-era neighborhood and its proximity to major sights like the National Mall, the White House and the Convention Center, we feel this makes our home THE PLACE to stay for your perfect trip, business or pleasure, in the nation's capital. We encourage you to make yourself completely at home in the apartment. You won't find such an experience in a hotel. And it's more affordable too!

Total number of guests staying in the apartment must be indicated on the reservation (max 4). No additional overnight guests.
Check-in and check-out times are firm. If you need an early or late check in/out each is a $25 fee and has to be pre-approved. Please inquire.
Hosts live upstairs and you may hear our day-to-day noise: footsteps, running water, dog barking. We try to keep it to a minimum!
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date.
District Designer Dream
We enjoyed every minute of our stay; from the moment we stepped past the gate through a seamless departure at the end of our stay. We were able to park our car very close by, making carrying luggage into the apartment a snap. All was as pictured; beautiful design, thoughtfully well stocked with every detail. A welcome basket full of snacks, coffee beans and french press, chilled water in the fridge, made our transition easy. We look forward to returning in the future.
Property is kept in great condition. The instructions are very clear. Penny stays in contact throughout the stay for any needs and fulfills any request promptly. Parking is another plus. Great location, close to whole foods, Trader joes, great restaurants.
Comfortable apartment with all the necessities for a stay close to sites, metro, and market. Owner was organized with all instructions well communicated prior to and during visit.

Great property, was just as it was listed!
We had a very enjoyable week in DC while staying at this property. The property itself had everything we needed. We were within walking distance to all the DC tourist attractions we came to see. The Logan Circle area was also a great place to hang out at night will great bars and restaurants. Peggy the owner knows how to set up a comfortable, professional vrbo.
Clean apartment with extra towels, bath products, snacks. Excellent location...felt safe with the security system. Easy to check in and check out. Street parking but parking pass provided and not difficult to use. Could hear footsteps from upstairs at evening hours but not a big deal. Would definitely stay here again.
DC's historic Logan Circle neighborhood is known for its architecture, with Victorian gems juxtaposed against modern, sophisticated cafes, restaurants, and trendy boutiques. We believe we are on the best block in DC! It is leafy and quiet, only steps from historic Logan Circle park (where you can relax, picnic, or even join in a game of pickup bocce!) You are within a 5-10 minute walk to a Whole Foods market, Giant supermarket, and Trader Joe's. We are steps from 14th Street and U Street corridors, and a short walk to Dupont to the west, along with the trendy Shaw neighborhood to the east, with all the restaurants, cafes and nightlife they have to offer. It is a quick stroll to the Convention Center, and well located for easy access to the National Mall (20 minutes on foot, quick cab/uber ride, or bus straight down 14th Street.) and the White House (15 minutes on foot) and a lovely springtime stroll beyond that to Washington, DC's spectacular cherry blossom trees!
