About Stefan van den Broek or Dirk-Jan Koops
We are 2 brothers who live in Europe and fell in love with Park City and nature around it. This part of the USA has it all: the best skiing in the world, wonderful nature and hiking year round, the Sundance festival and strategically located for visiting Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. As our families have limited time to spend in Park City, we love to offer the opportunity to others to experience the Best of the West.

Why Stefan van den Broek or Dirk-Jan Koops chose Park City
Summit Park is a neighbourhood of Park City that offers a combination of real nature - the trees are magnificent - with a strategic location close to Kimball Junction and Park City. The airport of Salt Lake City is an easy 35 minute drive. Other areas of Park City are more built-up, have no or less trees and less views. Shopping (a very good Freshmarket) is a 5 minute drive away. The house is an amazing, super high quality log home. Built in 2007 it has all the amenities. On the outside it combines classic Log Home with Austrian Chalet. On the inside you'll find a typical Western style. We love the many different seating areas and the fire places. As the house is on the upper part of Summit Park, the views are amazing. Trailheads start within walking distance. The upper part of Summit park is only lightly built up (with large luxury houses like ours) which adds to the exclusive nature feeling.
What makes this House unique
Views and a real outdoors feeling, combined with a very comfortable luxury home. Out in nature, while close to downtown Park City, Kimball Junction and the slopes, this house offers the best of all worlds.

Beautiful cabin with amazing views!
We had the best time and this place was even more beautiful and breathtaking in person! Highly recommend!
Cozy, large well appointed mountain house
This mountain home is as advertised. Comfortable, warm, spacious and well appointed...we four adults loved it. We stayed in March for the NCAA basketball games and the snow was not an issue. The beds were comfortable, the pillows a little hard (foam)...we always bring our own pillows and the pool table occupied us for hours. Kitchen well appointed for all cooking needs. Owners responsive and easy to work with. We would rent again.
One cautionary note: this home has quite a few stairs so if anyone is challenged by stairs, make a note. There is a terrific master bedroom suite on the main floor.
Beautiful log home on the side of a mountain! My family had a wonderful time!
Everything we expected and much more
Our experience exceeded expectations. The house is clean, well maintained and designed.
The owner's information and house rules were clear, precise, helpful, reasonable and self explanatory.
Beautiful view with a layout that made for a very pleasant, private, and comfortable stay.
Even better than the photos suggest!
This lodge-style home was probably the best vacation home we've ever rented. The photos don't do it justice. With four bedroom (each with their own bath) and extra family areas upstairs, downstairs, and outside on the 2 decks, our two families never felt crowded. There are plenty of good quality towels and linens and all the kitchen equipment you could need. We ate out most days but stayed in most evenings to cook steaks and fish on the grill. A trip to the Farmer's Market in Park City netted us some delicious fresh vegetables and fruit and mouthwatering bread and pastries. The location of the home makes it an ideal home base for a host of outdoor activities in the nearby state park & wilderness areas, as well as fun and games at the ski parks and shopping in Park City and the outlet mall.
Thanks for your kind review!
We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay at our place! And we could not agree more: Park City is definitely also a great place to spend time in summer.
We hope to see you back in the future!
Beautiful home with lots of room and everything we needed.
This home definitely gave us the mountain feel. It was spacious with nice views. We have children so the pool table and theater room was a hit. A hot tub would have been nice but certainly didn't spoil it. The home was very functional and had everything we needed. The gas fireplace in the master bedroom was a nice treat while reading. Location was good- away from all the traffic and business but still close enough (10-15 minutes) to restaurants and shopping. (15-20 min to lifts).
If your wanting to walk to Main St. this isn't it but Park City has grown so much that there is a lot more to it now. This home has easy access to all of Park City and surrounding attractions. I will definitely keep this home in my favorites for future trips to Park City.
