Sea and mountain view apartment, central location, 2 mins to beach

Location, location....This individual apartment is just one minute away from the main seafront of Puerto del Carmen, and enjoys stunning sea and mountain views. A 2 minute walk takes you to Puerto del Carmen's huge, golden sand Playa Grande beach. A 15 minute walk takes you to the picturesque Old Town with its great seafood restaurants. Our apartment is a real home from home. This property is unique in that consists of a downstairs apartment which sleeps up to 5 guests, and a separate self contained Studio Apartment which sleeps two.

The property sleeps 2 to 6 guests in comfort. The living area is comfortable and the property offers a light and airy open plan living and dining area. The outside areas provide options to have sun and shade all day long.

Master Bedroom: The main bedroom has 2 single beds, wardrobes and drawers. Mirror. Safety deposit box. Mosquito netting on windows.

Bedroom 2: A compact bedroom with a single bed and drawers.

Studio Apartment: A self contained space with a double bed, mini kitchen, and shower room with toilet. The studio is accessed via some quite steep stairs, and is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Outside the studio is the upper terrace, which has fabulous sea and mountain views.

Bathroom: Modern bathroom with walk in shower, dual wash-basins, toilet. Mirrors, storage, washing machine and opening window. Hairdryer.

Lounge: The property enjoys an open plan living/dining area. The lounge has a large comfortable leather sofa, flat screen TV with UK channels, and books. There is wifi throuhgout.

Kitchen: The property has a spacious and well equiped kitchen - ideal for those who want to prepare their own meals whilst away! Full oven, hob, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. There is plentiful crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils, and lots of cupboard space.

Outside: The property’s outside areas are very relaxing places to sit. The lower terrace has a covered area with a table and chairs with cushions, perfect for alfresco dining, and sunloungers. The terraces have a mix of sun and shade all day. The lower terrace has an outdoor shower. The upstairs terrace is a real feature, having a table and chairs where you can sit and admire the lovely sea views, and contemporary lounger chairs to enjoy the sun trap.

The apartment is surrounded by high walls. Parking is available on the road to the side of the apartment.

The main 2 bedroomed apartment is ground floor. The upper terrace and the studio apartment are accessed via an exterior flight of stairs which may be considered steep, and so may also not be suitable to those with mobility problems.

There is a safety deposit box for guests to use, and free wifi throughout. All bedrooms have fans.

Calle Gofio is a quiet pedestrianised street leading directly to the seafront in one minute's walk. The street does have some steps, and may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

The property is in a great location. It was clean and spacious downstairs. The upstairs property is a lot smaller in comparison but was fine for a short stay. The stairs to the upstairs property are very steep as stated in the property description. I wouldn’t recommend staying upstairs if you had poor mobility. We would stay again, very easy check in and out process.

Best Accommodation ever in PDC
Gill was very prompt with her responses to our enquiries and the booking process was quick, and easy. Our refundable deposit was returned in less than 24 hours. The apt exceeded our expectation and was very clean and well maintained. Our overall impression of the property was fantastic every single thing was supplied down to the very last detail a real “home to home” if outside space is important you won’t do better - large outside table and 6 comfortable rattan chairs 2 loungers and on the upstairs terrace another smaller table and chairs and further lounger. The apartment is roomy tastefully furnished and wow what a bathroom with twin handbasins plenty of cupboard space and a tall chest of drawers perfect for make up. There is a washing machine (we didn’t use it) and a large glass walk in shower cubicle with a fab powerful shower. Every piece of kitchen apparatus you need - lots of crockery, glasses and cutlery. We don’t cook but there is a full oven if required. Great Sky package, we didn’t use it much but great variety if you want it. Great instruction manual on how to use apparatus, local numbers and where to empty bins etc. The only down thing I would mention and it is not a thing wrong with the apartment but the nxt door neighbour does have a loud barking dog but that said it would not put us off booking this apt again.

Well located and compact
The property was very conveniently located for the beach and the bars and restaurants in Puerto del Carmen. There are some lovely places to eat and drink very close by. The apartment was clean and well equipped with a lovely sun terrace which had sun all day and a large bathroom. Plenty of tables and chairs in the property. We were met at the airport and also returned which reduced the stress of waiting for taxis. Gill and her daughter were very helpful. The apartment was very hot and it would have been lovely to have air con to make sleeping more comfortable. One bedroom was very small but we were advised of this before we booked. The shower pressure was pretty low even with the extra pump and the water didn't get warm sometimes, however it was so hot a cold shower was quite refreshing. It would also have been nice to have English channels on the TV. We had a relaxing stay and being close to the beach was wonderful.

Modern, clean, great location,
The pictures for this property do not do it justice - it truly was lovely. The location was perfect and was just a few minutes walk to the beach and within close proximity to all of the restaurants. The property was extremely clean on arrival and was very well-maintained. The property had everything you could possibly want ranging from sun-loungers to an ironing board. The owner of the property could not have been more helpful. Firstly, we got picked up from the airport extremely promptly. The owner was also helpful in providing us with a brand new fan at our convenience. I would definitely recommend this property to relatives and friends. Would love to visit here again. Thanks for a great stay.

The apartment is managed personally by Gill Pegge, assisted by her daughter. Gill worked as a manager in several 4 and 5* hotels in the UK before moving to the beautiful island of Lanzarote in 2012. Being on the island allows Gill to meet and greet guests, make sure they are familiar with the property’s facilities, as well as passing on advice and recommendations to enhance their holidays. Being on the island also allows Gill to very quickly sort out any problems which guests may have. Gill has a passion for Lanzarote and has never had a more enjoyable 'job' than making sure that guests have a relaxing and memorable holiday.

Why they chose this property

Lanzarote has year round sunshine and blue skies. Puerto del Carmen has the best choice of restaurants and bars we have ever come across, and the ambiance and variety of the resort’s facilities appeals to guests of all ages. There are several stunning beaches in Puerto del Carmen, and the seafront promenade is one of our favourite places for a stroll.

Calle Gofio is a peaceful and pedestrianised street of individual properties - ideal for those who want somewhere quiet yet very central, but without the noise and activity of some of the larger complexes.

What makes this property unique

Guests comment on the tranquilty of the location, and love that there is such a wonderful assortment of restaurants and bars which they can easily walk to within minutes. Being so close to the beach and having stunning sea views are great benefits too.
