2BR2BA, Small Dog Friendly - Now BOOKING Spring Break & SUMMER!

Sea Oats is located on west beach in Gulf Shores only 3 miles west of the 't' where Highway 59 meets the beaches at the HANGOUT. Away from the crowded beaches, we are located in the quiet, laid back area of Gulf Shores, but just moments away from the heart of the activity including shopping, amusement parks, fishing pier, restaurants and golf.

Property features:
Our complex is located on almost 8 acres of prime lagoon front property. Sea oats offers a private boat launch and slips, fishing piers, 2 gazebos, and picnic areas with grills. We also have our own private beach access just a short walk from the unit. You will find a boardwalk on both sides of the road with outdoor showers. If you’d rather sun at the pool, we offer two Jr Olympic size pools & 2 kiddie pools.

There is assigned covered parking for our unit, which leads to the entrance of the condo. You will also find additional parking for cars, boats, jet skis and kayaks.

The unit is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath with 1100 square feet. It has a very large balcony with views of the pool and beach in front of you. Both bedrooms and the living room open to the large covered balcony.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a spacious closet. You will also find a large private master bathroom. The master has its own flat panel HDTV with cable and dvd/blue ray player. The second bedroom contains a queen size bed. There is a HDTV with a DVD player. Directly across the hallway from the guest bedroom, you will find the second full bath.

Living room:
In the living room, the family will be quite comfortable watching a dvd/blue ray or cable on the 50 inch flat panel HDTV. We also offer wireless internet in the unit for your use. There are DVDs and card games for the kids and several books for adults to enjoy reading as well.

Kitchen:
In our unit, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances. There is a full size refrigerator with ice maker, stove, microwave and dishwasher. You will also find everything you need to prepare meals when you choose to cook, including a slow cooker. We also have a blender to prepare your favorite frozen drinks as well as a coffee maker.

There is a new full size washer and dryer in the unit. We also provide a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, garbage bags, etc., so you may need to restock a few of those items while you are here. Basically, pack your clothes, pick up some groceries on your way in and RELAX!

-This is a non-smoking unit!!
-$200 Damage/Security Deposit to hold reservation refundable after inspection of unit
-Must be 25 years of age to rent
-Check-in after 3 P.M. Central and check-out at 10 A.M. Central
-Three (3) night minimum stay except during summer.
-Summer season is a seven (7) night minimum stay - Saturday-Saturday check in & out
-NO PETS ALLOWED, exceptions for snowbird rentals upon inquiry

Spring break week

Clean, quiet, well stocked. Owners super accommodating and communicative. We were able to check in early. My son fishes, so I wish we were on lagoon side, but plus on pool side is glimpse of gulf. And pool looked very refreshing. I also wish the pool was useable. It was way too cold to use. Other than that, great all around. We’ve been used to having to bring so many extras. Not needed there. Awesome place!

Beautiful condo

We enjoyed our week at this beautiful condo. It was the cleanest we have ever stayed at. It had everything we wanted and was in a great location. We just had to cross the street to get to the beach. It was great we were able to bring our 2 small dogs. We plan to stay here next time we go to Gulf Shores.

Mermaid Cove review

Condo was very clean and had a very nice beach theme for the decorations, my youngest daughter (8) loved it. They have 2 piers on the lagoon side which we caught all kinds of fish (several speckled trout, 1 flounder, 1 stingray, 2 mangrove snapper and various bait fish). Their is beach access straight across the road also which makes it easier so you do not have to walk a long ways with kids beach toys.

Amazing Beach Home Away From Home

This place is simply amazing!! Everything you need is in this condo. First aid supplies, color books, movies, books, well stocked kitchen. Very clean, comfortable beds, large pool. Keep in mind short walk across street to beach and no elavatort to second floor. This was not an issue for us but only for those who can't walk long distances or stairs. We can't wait to visit again. Owners are great to work with.

This a a home away from home! Everything you need that you forgot to bring! Ha! Beautifully decorated, very clean, comfy beds. The balcony looks right out to the pool which was convenient for me to keep an eye on my teenagers while they were swimming. There is a covered fishing pier behind the condo. Only a couple miles from the hustle and bustle but just far enough out that it’s not too loud. Beach access directly across the property. LOVED everything about it! We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Condo!

This cozy condo was absolutely amazing and beautifully decorated. The name Mermaid Cove is perfect and spot on! The decor made you feel like you were in a mermaid paradise! Everything you need for a comfortable stay and more. The grounds were well kept and fairly quiet. The lagoon in the back was nice for fishing and sunsets and the beach was only a short walk across the street. The pools were never busy. The location of the condo is further down from the hustle and bustle so very laid back and nice if you’re looking to actually relax. We had a wonderful family vacation with our teenagers and looking forward to coming back again!

This condo is so cute.

We totally enjoyed the condo and the grounds. The pool is front of the condo was being repaired but we used the other pool. Well let's put it this way. We sat by the pool a couple times. Our weather was cool most of the time so no need for a pool. The balcony is in a good position for when the sun does come out. I would say the sun is on the balcony until three thirty (winter time). Jane was quick to respond to any questions. Decided to stay a extra day and was very accommodating on how we were going to pay for it. The complex is kind of hard to find at night so we just remembered that once you go over the bridge, look for the taller condo complex that is usually lit up. Our complex was the next driveway. Also make sure you go in the red doors to get to the condo. As other people have said, this place is equipped with everything you would need. My husband was surprised that there was even a screw driver here. The beach walk is directly across the complex. Just follow the opening by the outdoor shower by the road and cross the road and you are there. This area was quiet during spring break. Closer to 59 you hear more of the action. Nice fishing pier and picnic area behind the condo. Our dog liked that you could go from the livingroom and out on the patio and into the master bedroom. Could go to second bedroom also but we didn't use that room so the chairs were in front of it. I would stay here again.

We reside in Chattanooga, TN and enjoy spending our free time in Gulf Shores. We purchased this unit in November 2015. A complete remodel was done inside. We hope your family will enjoy our vacation home as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We choose Sea Oats in Gulf Shores because of its amenities and family friendly atmosphere. The condo is on 8 acres which gives plenty of space for walking and exploring. The beach access is a short walk directly in front of the condo. The two lane road has very little traffic. The walk from the condo to the beach is approximately 3/4 the length of a football field. The lagoon is to the back of the property with covered docks where you can fish, walk your pet, or access the boat launch. Sea Oats is a very family oriented place with the beach and lagoon access. We feel your family will enjoy it as much as ours.

What makes this property unique

This property is family friendly with easy beach access with 2 olympic size pools and 2 kiddie pools to enjoy with your friends and family. There is a boat ramp, 2 fishing piers, dozens of boat slips, covered BBQ area and 8 acres to roam around.
