Over the upper two floors are 5 bedrooms, the master double and the second floor double bedroom both have views across the roof tops to the beach and pier. A short walk takes you to the award-winning sandy beach which features a promenade, Victorian pier and huge children's play park with water fountains. Teignmouth also offers a wonderful selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. With the train station and passenger ferry to Shaldon within easy walking distance you can leave the car behind. Town: Teignmouth is in South Devon on the Teign estuary, boasting a harbour, beach, Victorian pier, sailing club, diving centre and sea activities. The seaward side of the town, ‘the Den’, has Georgian buildings, an area with lawns, play areas, tennis courts, a bowling green, and a lighthouse. The opposite side holds fishing boats and beach huts, plus views of Shaldon and Dartmoor. Teignmouth hosts folk and jazz festivals each year, the town and Shaldon hold carnivals and regattas. Close to Teignmouth is the Dartmoor National Park, the city of Exeter, plus the nearby harbour towns are worth exploring.
