Once the village stores, now a light, airy and sunny holiday house for six people in comfort, eight or more at a squeeze. 12 minutes walk from Trebarwith Strand, the best beach in North Cornwall, we think - as do lots of the surfing community. A great place for walking too, only 5 minutes from the clifftop North Cornwall Coastal Path. Two nice local pubs both serving good food, one in the most beautiful position imaginable, overlooking the sea and setting sun.
Our house has living, dining and kitchen plus large studio where the shop used to be. Bedrooms - two double (one en suite), one with two single beds. Two bathrooms, separate utility for washing after beach activities. A range of wetsuits available. Central heating throughout. BYO linen and towels.
The Old Stores has just what you need for a nice holiday; it is basic, no luxurious frills - more Lidl than Waitrose. It's close to the coastal path with as much outdoor space as you could wish for.
Places of interest: Boscastle 4 miles, Tintagel 2 miles, Port Isaac 5 miles. Wonderful Rocky Valley 3 miles. Bodmin Moor 4 miles. North Cornwall Coastal Path nearby.
We don’t mind pets but there’s no garden so take the dog down to the beach – which has been voted dog-friendly because high tide washes the beautiful sand spotlessly clean twice a day.
Note that electric bikes are no longer available; they have had to be withdrawn through misuse.
