Enjoyed my stay
Centrally located, modern and good amenities. Suggestion: install an A/C unit inside the master bedroom because living room unit cannot cool that bedroom enough.
This apt is within a short walking distance to some great restaurants!! The little balconies are perfect for watching the busy activity in the streets below. The communication throughout the process is very good, and Alejandro, who does the check in process , is fabulous!! He was even kind enough to lead us in his car to the car rental return!!! He made the check in very smooth and effortless. The apt , which was clean, is big enough where we weren't stumbling over each other.
Excellent location and the apt is awesome
Cleanse , confortable and location

During our recent visit to Madrid we stayed in La Latina, just steps away from the La Latina metro stop and less than a minute from the Rastro flea market, a huge outdoor market that spans several blocks of La Latina every Sunday (and public holidays). We had a great visit and our greeter, who welcomed us into the flat, was a huge part of that. After completing the official key hand-off he spent another 10 minutes or so outlining his suggestions for places to visit, including the tapas district that started just east of the La Latina stop and extended up to Plaza Mayor. He also pointed out a nearby churreriá where we picked up churros and porras with fresh drinking chocolate. Just around the corner from there we found a perfect “whole-in-the-wall” Ruda Café that addressed our itch for iced lattes and where we discovered a great cold brew-tonic. Just next door we found the Mamá Elba Heladeria serving gelatos and sorbets to help close out a day of hoofing around the city.
The flat was well-equipped in the kitchen, living room and bathrooms and had excellent wifi. We had comfortable seating in the living room and the two bedrooms were roomy. There were two air conditioners that helped to cool down the main living area and the back bedroom – so useful as the weather turned quite warm during our visit. There was a front-loading clothes washer (although no dryer). Others have commented on the street noise – we visited on a weekend that extended through Monday for a religious holiday, so Sunday and Monday nights might have been quieter than usual as many of the stores were still closed. For light sleepers the front bedroom and living room (pull out bed) might be noisy but this wasn’t any worse than what I’ve experienced in other major US cities (e.g. San Diego Gaslamp district). There was a small (3-4 people) elevator that we used mostly for transporting luggage up and down during our arrival and departure, for a very walkable 3rd floor apartment.
Excellent apartment. But constant street noise by revelers on the street until 4 or 5 am.
Fortunately, the second bedroom, in the back, was much quieter (2 twin beds). The main bedroom has a window with a step-balcony, and the dining/living room has two of these balconies.
Everything was clean and updated. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pots and pans and utensils, but be prepared to provide your own coffee, spices and anything else you may want for cooking.
Very secure locks and entryway system to the elevator. Front door of the building opens right onto Calle de Toledo, and there are SO many tapas bars, coffee shops and restaurants. Very cool neighborhood. Wish I was there when I was in my 20's to take part in the late night fun.
We are very happy with your comments and details, it is exciting to know that you have enjoyed our comfort and location, as well as our beautiful city.
We are waiting for your next visit.
