About this property

The ideal property for a family seaside holiday in the heart of a coastal town.

Located in the heart of this pretty coastal town, this is the ideal property for a family seaside holiday as it is less than a minute to the beach. This tastefully decorated and elegant terraced house provides comfortable accommodation for up to seven people.

With Aldeburgh’s renowned shingle beach just a few metres from the front door, the town’s popular high street shops and restaurants one road away, the yacht club a short walk and the Brudenell Hotel, with its reputable restaurant and outside terrace, literally over the road, what more could one ask of a holiday location?

With the beach being quite so close there is little need for your own outside space, but should you wish to enjoy an al fresco drink at the end of the day, there is an open area to back of the house - perfect for catching the evening sun.
The property is also ideal for dog-owners as, with the property being located at the yacht club end of town, dogs are allowed on this section of beach year-round. The main beach does not allow dogs between May and September.

Additional Information
The property sleeps 5 guests plus 2 with two king-size beds, a single bed and bunk beds.
A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
One well behaved dog is welcome (small additional charge).

First Floor:

8/10 Good

7 Brudenell
We have enjoyed staying at this property several times. It is a lovely home in a great location. We were disappointed by the cleanliness this time - dirty duvet covers which did not even fit the duvet, very dirty dining room floor in need of a sweep and mop, etc. This level of cleanliness was made even more frustrating by being informed upon arrival by a laminated sign that we would be expected to strip our own bedding at the end of the stay, bundle it up with the towels and tea towels, and remove all rubbish from the property. It felt very much as if the owners are using the tired excuse of Covid to get by without employing cleaners, at the expense of the guests.

Pleasant house
House not quite big enough for 7 people. Better for 4 or maybe 5. Kitchen and dining area super. Sitting area small for 7 people. Porch very handy.

perfect
Gorgeous cottage with allocated parking space (v important). Excellent location, minutes away from the high street and beach. Really perfect stay, just too short!

Super Cottage
Clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a perfect location opposite the Brudenell Hotel. 2 minute walk to the dog friendly part of the beach and other good walks. Would have no hesitation to book again if returning!

A little jewel by the seaside
This was our second visit, having fallen in love with this house last year. My children love the bunk beds, we take an early morning stroll along the beach and back via the Two magpies bakery. It’s a super location and very well equipped property. They even have a bucket for crabbing!
