Why Philippe and Geraldine Boulet chose Avignon City Centre
We have decided to rent this apartment on a seasonal basis as the renovation budget has gone through the roof. The result is fantastic as our guests love our place and its unique location.
What makes this Apartment unique
The apartment is located in the historical center of Avignon near Le Palais des Papes and Le Pont d'Avignon, in a quiet place although very near shops, restaurants, cafes, museums, movie theaters... The little garden is great with its private pool ideal when the weather allows a little dip.

Central town location with super outdoor space
A well equipped and attractive apartment. It was really hot the week we were there, so the plunge pool was a life saver!
Very quiet, didn't feel like you were in the middle of town. Excellent restaurants, shop, market and cinema all within 5 minutes.
Jenelle who looked after the property was immensely helpful and sorted out any minor issues that arose immediately.
Stunning apartment in a fantastic location in the heart of Avignon
We recently spent a week in this beautiful apartment . Philippe is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. The location is amazing just a 2 minute walk from the Palais Du Pape and right in the centre of things. It is amazingly quiet and the apartment has everything you need. The pool and the garden is the perfect spot for alfresco dining and lazing and we made the most of it .The décor is beautiful and the beds are soooo comfortable.
I would highly recommend this oasis of luxury in Avignon and would definitely return . Just a tip don't bring your car into Avignon but park for free in the car parks just outside of town and get a free shuttle bus it takes just minutes .
Fantastic Value in Historic Avignon
I almost hesitate to write this review, because I want to stay there again and if I write how wonderful this place is, well, it may never be available again. First the host, Philippe, is a delightful person, very friendly, English speaking. I was a bit concerned over deposit but when you see the space you will understand it is proportional, and he was very quick/no problem in refunding it after we left. The pictures do not do justice, it is a delight retreat in the heart of the old town, 5 minutes (if you walk slowly) to the Palace of Popes. The best part of the unit is its quiet, and it is just gorgeous. The upstairs neighbor plays the harp, and listening to her/him practicing was so restful. The unit is a bit eccentric (well, it would be). The one bedroom is only accessable through the courtyard (perfect if you have teenagers). The other two bedrooms have a connecting door, and for one bedroom you do have to walk through the other, a consideration if you have two couples. The unit is within walking distance of everything, and Les Halles de Avingnon, oh my goodness what a food emporium with the most delicious breads, pates, sausages, wines, everything that is the best of france at your fingers. We would have picnics in the courtyard that were so delightful. This is such a gorgeous location hosted by friendly and helpful Phillipe.
Great pace to stay in Avignon
A great location, we could walk to everything. The apartment was very nice. The owner was accommodating of an early check in which really helped as it was a Sunday and we needed to get some food before everything closed for the day. We spent most of our time in the courtyard. The kitchen was well supplied and there were plenty of linens for 6 people. I can recommend this apartment to anyone who is visiting Avignon!
Most Beautiful Haven in Avignon
The most beautiful property in all of Avignon has it all: outstanding design flow, quiet luxury, elegance, privacy and serenity. Located just steps behind The Palais du Papes, it is walking distance to everything historical, shopping or a peaceful stroll to Les Halle's market. A gourmet kitchen will delight the finest chef with everything one needs from a quiet dinner pour deux to entertaining on the stunning terrace complete with plunge pool and outdoor wine bar. Relax and read a book by the pool (or work on writing one as we are) and enjoy some sun and peaceful relaxation. Close walk to the finest restaurants including La Mirande and tres serieux gastronomique classes for the culinary gourmand looking for a challenge! Phillipe and Geraldine are simply lovely - they will share everything with you from best restaurants to local groceries and markets and they make you feel welcome in this very special property. You will be lucky if you are ever able to stay in this magnificent, well kept secret in the heart of Avignon, truly an unforgettable experience! Ten stars, not five. We have affectionately named it "Haven-gnon" in the Heart of Avignon, and we cannot wait to return to this amazing sanctuary.
Perfect Avignon Base
We stayed for five nights at the start of winter and loved it. The apartment is very well appointed with quality everywhere. It was the perfect spot to have a few friends/family stay as we did, great living space that you feel immediately at home in. (As evidenced by the number of naps taken on the couches). Philippe and Geraldine were great hosts, we were welcomed with a gift of wine, the house was spotless, and we got some great tips about dining / the local area etc. The security deposit was rather steep but there was no issue at all when we checked out. They are trustworthy and I would definitely stay again.
Dave and Viv
Superb three bedroom apartment with pool. At the heart of the city of Avignon and its festival. Two minutes walk from the Palais des Papes and all the shops.
At 20 minutes the Alpilles and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. 20 minutes from Uzes and its famous market. Not to mention L'Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, the Pont du Gard, Arles, Chateauneuf du Pape and "la route des vins"...
We love our Provence and her exceptional history, we shall greet you with great pleasure.
