We stayed in Villa Alba for 2 weeks. We chose it as we had stayed here 5 years a ...

We stayed in Villa Alba for 2 weeks. We chose it as we had stayed here 5 years ago and thought it was good. However, it is now poorly maintained! The air conditioning does not work and only one fan provided! The oven is still broken despite a previous reviewer commenting on it! When we arrived we were not provided with any instructions as to how to get in or where we’d find the keys. After a difficult conversation with the caretaker over the phone (no English spoken) we were advised the keys were in the key lock. We had requested to rent linen and towels but they had not been provided. Yet another difficult phone call was required. They then tried to charge us for the linen again! There was no welcome folder with info regarding the wifi code etc. There was not enough sun beds for the number of guests and those that were there were broken or breaking! The pool became cloudy and dirty within a few days. We had to request the pool man to come but it still did not clear! Surprisingly he managed to get it clean on the last night! Presumably for the next lot of guest! The crockery needed washing before we could use it and whilst the bathrooms were clean the floors were not! It is such a shame that the owners and caretakers are not looking after the villa or spending any money on its maintenance! It could be such a fabulous villa with just a bit of care and attention to detail!

Hele vieze en uitgeleefde Vila. Trapleuning hangt los en is levensgevaarlijk!!! Eerder contact over gehad ivm met eerdere resensies en het huis zou gewoon goed zijn zoals beloofd. Als dat niet zo was zou het per direct opgelost worden als we er zouden zijn. Nu hier gearriveerd en dan wordt de telefoon gewoon verbroken als je er contact over hebt. Echt verschrikkelijk vies en levensgevaarlijk huis. Kasten vallen uit elkaar. Lampen kapot echt geen aanrader. Oplossen van belvilla ook niet thuis.
