The chalet worked pretty much perfectly for our group of 8
Comfortable, clean and well equipped. Location was perfect for us for accessing the slopes, ski hire, groceries and local restaurants.
Small suggestions- have a few board games, puzzles etc. Also a boot drying rack for the garage would have helped.
Thanks and all the best
Fantastic Chalet, near the lift for the slopes. Very Comfortable Chalet fully equipped, washer machine, dryer machine, ...
We felt like home, big saloon really comfortable and we were 10 people.
Lot of details, two garage a plus, fully thought to enjoy a nice stay to ski.
Poorly maintained property
Very disappointed. Had a flooded shower, toilet that flushed constantly, broken railings on the stairs and a bath plug that stuck in.. The property is very creaky which wakes everyone up at night and the doors dont shut properly. The owner blamed previous tenants! The property was clean and the position is ok. Would not recommend.
Directly, after the tenants left the Chalet, all the problems were solved.
A faire !
Vraiment a recommander. Eric
Chalet le Bouquetin is a comfortable, stylish chalet located on the southwest slope just above the village of Tignes les Brevières with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Brévières. The village of Tignes was formerly in the Isère valley, slightly lower than Val d`Isère. After the 2nd world war was built a hydroelectric dam in the Isère. Because of the resulting lake, the Lac du Chevril, the old village of Tignes would lie under water. The church was moved to Tignes-les Boisses the village and eventually went under in 1952. Every 10 years, EDF drain the lake for inspection and maintenance work on the dam and the remnants of the old Tignes still visible.
Today Tignes consists of four villages. Below the dam on a lake lies Les Brevières a charming picturesque Savoyard village (1550 m). Above that is Les Boisses (1800 m). The other two are the modern villages of Tignes and are significantly higher, Le Lac and Val Claret (2100 m).
