About this property

Secluded private ranch next to prime Colorado hunting, fishing, and hiking spots

This historic family-owned ranch is situated in a private canyon at the end of a well-maintained county road. Corral Creek runs through the property, eventually feeding into the Colorado River.

Sit back on the large porch and take in the abundant wildlife and canyon views, soak in the enclosed hot tub and watch the sunset over the ridge, or take a stroll with your fishing rod down to the creek and trout-stocked pond.

The main log-style home is spacious with four bedrooms—three featuring king-sized beds (including the large master) and a fourth with two single beds. The updated kitchen is equipped with everything the home cook needs.

In the summer guests can also access the campsite. Several picnic tables and a canvas tipi are set in a tucked-away clearing across the stream.

On-site caretakers live in a separate house and maintain the property year-round. They’re available to lend a hand during your stay and will show you the property on arrival. There are horses on the property and two friendly ranch dogs during the summer months.

Location: This property is five miles off US 40, 15 minutes from Kremmling, half an hour from Rocky Mountain National Park, less than an hour from Silverthorne, Steamboat Springs, and Winter Park, and two and a half hours from Denver—but a million miles from nowhere!

Satellite TV and WIFI are available in the main house.

One dog is allowed with an extra charge of $25 per night. (Must be friendly with other dogs and comfortable around horses.)

This property is perfect for a family wanting a private getaway or a group hunting or fishing trip. It has all the comforts of home in a one-of-a-kind setting you won’t forget.

Please note, a $200 cleaning fee will be applied.

Wonderful secluded property
We had a fantastic stay at the end of July with 4 adults and 2 teens. The trout pond provided some light fishing, and the stream and surrounding canyon provided lots of exploration opportunities. The house itself is very large with plenty of space. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful ranch
We had a great time! Rimrock Canyon Ranch is amazing. The house is very comfortable and clean. There’s plenty of games and books to enjoy. The hot tub is delightful. The kitchen has everything you might need. We can’t wait to stay there again.

We had the perfect week at Rim Rock Canyon ranch. The house has so much character and was the most stalked VRBO I’ve ever been to. We had a great Thanksgiving week there. Thank you
