Fabulous Stay on Elvaston Place
When we booked this property, it was a bit of a shot in the dark. The only thing we knew is that we wanted to be in walking distance of the Natural History Museum. Thus, we chose this property and hoped we would be happy. As it turns out, we were THRILLED. Roger is very communicative and easy to work with, helping us navigate our transportation to the apartment (we flew into Gatwick and took the train to Victoria Station and then the tube to Gloucester Street). The location is truly unbelievable - more restaurants and shops than we could possibly sample in 4 days, and ridiculously convenient. And safe! We discovered Ben's (a cookie shop) around the corner, and were also thrilled that there was a bike station within a block. We rented bikes and rode EVERYWHERE - Buckingham Palace, Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, The Wallace Collection, Victoria Palace Theater, St. James Park, Hyde Park (so much fun to ride along the Serpentine!), Churchill's War Rooms, etc. The apartment couldn't be in a better location! It was also thoughtfully stocked. As a curly haired person, I was thrilled to discover a hairdryer with a diffuser! Exceptional water pressure (you just never know how showers are going to be), and tranquil. All in all, a 10. Thank you Roger!
Great location, perfect size for our family of 4. Roger was very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.
Comfortable digs in Central London with Nearby Tube Station
We were very pleased with our stay at Roger's flat. Beds were very comfortable and the pillows, towels, and bedding were all top notch.
Enjoyed my stay
Nice apartment at a very central location
Very Nice Flat
My family enjoyed our week-long stay at this flat. As a family of four (including two teenagers), we found ample room to be comfortable. Although I was a bit concerned about this being in a basement flat, it had enough natural light through both the front windows and kitchen area so that I didn’t feel like I was in a basement. It is very conveniently located with just a five minute walk to the tube station, shopping and grocery markets, etc. I expected more noise from the road, but was pleasantly surprised to find very little each night. The flat was fresh, clean and well-maintained. Having two bathrooms was nice for a family of four. The owner was great, both in communication, as well as graciously accommodating a special request of ours. I’d highly recommend this flat to anyone looking for a well-appointed flat with which to experience all that London has to offer.
This flat worked very well for getting together with family. Well equipped.
Great location for everything. Some wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The owner was a excellent communicator and very helpful.
Would recommend it.
