A central nostalgic apartment

My place is a 63 sq.m, 2nd floor apartment with one bedroom, a big living room, a kitchen and a bathroom . The front balcony is overlooking the main street and the park, whereas from the bedroom balcony you can see a nice small backyard. The apartment has wooden flooring and it is decorated with some antiques and vintage pieces of furniture and so it has a nostalgic and welcoming style. It is located in the city center in the unique and bohemian area of Exarcheia. Close to transportation and all major attractions. (only 7 minutes walking distance from Victoria metro station, next to bus stops and just 3 minutes away from the National Archaeological Museum).There are bus stops just outside from where you can be transported anywhere around the city. The Attica Bus Terminal is only 5 minutes away (you can visit sights around Attica with a low cost) . You can also easily find a taxi just outside the building. The walking distance, it's 25 min from Syntagma, 25 min from Monastiraki and 35 min from Acropolis. Yes!! We are really central!!
The neighborhood
You can start your daily shopping from the bakery just around the corner (a bakery since 1910) and then you cross the street and you find the supermarket, the greengrocer's, the butcher's and the fish shop and finally you visit the pharmacy!! Every Saturday you can buy your fresh fruit and vegetables from the best farmer's market in Athens under Strefi hill and also enjoy the vibrant atmosphere along with your coffee in one of the beautiful cafes in Kallidromiou street . You have everything conveniently in front of you!!
Exarcheia area
Exarcheia is the most bohemian, artistic and free minded part of downtown Athens. Greek families, students and immigrants add to its alternative character and livelihood. It is full of great coffee shops, traditional restaurants, live music bars, second hand bookshops, vinyl record shops and open air movie theaters. And full of some graffiti as well!!
Some of the main Athens hills like Lycabettus and Stefi from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Athens, are really close by !
