Cosy House with three bedrooms! - Cambridge City Center
- english, french, spanish, Mandarin Chinese
Hi I am Graham I have lived in Cambridge and the surrounding area for many years and I love it here! I want to make sure you enjoy Cambridge too, its a fantastic place!
Why Graham chose Cambridge
Everything is fairly new, its modern and warm and comfortable, has everything you need for an enjoyable relaxing time.
What makes this House unique
Its a very private property, you are not overlooked from the back at all and the back garden space is quite substantial including parking for two vehicles. Its also very quiet around the back, ideal for relaxing on a sunny day. The house gets a lot of light, its bright and airy and as its newly refurbished is clean and sparkly with a fresh smell. The living room is a great place to chill out, there's seating for up to ten people on chairs. and its a great shaped room so it feels spacious and cosy. TV has NETFLIX. Not many places are spacious and so close to Cambridge city centre.
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Our stay was short but lovely. The house is very clean. Graham gave us all the information we needed.
Hopefully we can go back one day for a longer stay.
An excellent base for exploring Cambridge
Ideal situation for exploring Cambridge. All the colleges and the botanical gardens within walking distance. A good, clean simple base. Recommend.
Decent location near the river with easy access to Cambridge city centre
We enjoyed our stay
Check in and out was very efficient and we enjoyed our stay
The property was a great place for our family. Wonderful access to nature and river.
Spotless and all you need
We had four adults in the space and did well. All needs were met, the place is spotless, and Graham was flexible and available. It's a pleasant 20 min walk into town along the river and through various parks. Having Tesco so close is a bonus. Our rental car was a big on the big side for the parking but neighbors were great, and we made due.
There are lots of Museums, Cambridge Museum of Technology is less than 2 minutes walk. Plus there's Cambridge University and all its colleges, Kings College Chaple, Trinity College (where Sir Isaac Newton studied), St John College, Gonville and Ciaus, St Catherins, Queens College, Clare College, Sidney Sussex, Christs, Jesus, Emmanuelle and many more. Punting on the river and also rowing and Kayaking.
The Fitzwilliam museum has a large collection of art including Monet and Van Gogh. I highly recommend the Scott Poal museum, with its amazing story of the first race to get to the South Pole between Scott and Amundsen.
There are three theatres offering a different selection of entertainment and a huge array of restaurants and bars and pubs.
Its a great location if you enjoy cycling as you can hire a bike and cycle along the river without having to worry about cars and lorries. Just watch out for the pedestrians!
