1 Stanhope Castle Mews is a superb stone cottage within the town of Stanhope in County Durham. It provides two bedrooms which include a super king-size and a twin zip/link room, there is also a shower room and a cloakroom, the property can sleep up to four people. Inside, it also comes with a kitchen/diner as well as a sitting room. To the outside there is off-road parking, a courtyard with furniture and a hot tub. 1 Stanhope Castle Mews is a stunning cottage in the heart of a fabulous town and within easy reach of wondrous countryside and the city of Durham.

Amenities: Heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking for one vehicle within the private grounds during any one stay. Courtyard with furniture and private hot tub. One small well behaved dog welcome. Sorry no smoking. Shop and pub 2 minute walk. No stag/hen parties or similar. Note: £100 good housekeeping bond / damage deposit for 1-2 people and £150 good housekeeping bond / damage deposit for 2-4 people. Good housekeeping bonds to be paid by bank transfer 24 hours before arrival. Note: Black doors next to hot tub are the owners private maintenance doors.

From the iconic Romanesque Cathedral and 11th century Durhan Castle nestled in the centre of town, to its sleepy villages and thriving Heritage Coast, Durham is the perfect holiday choice.

Town: A market town in the North Pennines AONB. Stanhpe has pubs, specialist food stores, coffee shops, art galleries, a swimming pool and riverside walks. It is also on the C2C cycle route. The city of Durham is 22 miles away, a World Heritage Site with a cathedral and castle, plus Hadrian's Wall is within easy reach. Close by are Hamsterley Forest, Killhope Lead Mining Museum and Barnard Castle.
