It's a beautiful medieval town. So much to see in the area. Arianna and her family are wonderful hosts. We had a private tour of the local churches that was amazing!
We were very impressed with this apartment. It had lots of room, modern appliances and great patio.
Arianna was a great host and the property was excellent. We highly recommend it and great value.
30th wedding anniversary hideaway
Charming, characterful Hill-top cottage, great welcome by host. Authentic, quiet, lots of attention to detail.
Arianna was fantastic at making us feel welcome and like we were at home. As our first time in Tuscany, Italy it was everything we wanted and more. Plenty of space inside and out and even though the weather wasn’t the greatest the views and scenery always made up for it. The house itself is a climb from the car, as you’d imagine in a medieval street no cars can drive around the village. You need a hire car for the location and it worked great for us. 15mins into the nearest town where you’ve got Lidl and Coop for everything you need. We always took the train from Pescia for our site seeing in Florence, Lucca and Siena, it’s cheap enough, free parking and stress free. 45mins drive takes you to the start of the SR222 road from Florence to Siena and if you have a hire car this is a must do as the views are spectacular! Overall a brilliant stay and we would definitely come again!
Thank you so much for your kind words!!I'm so glad that you enjoed your time in Castelvecchio and In our holiday home. I really hope to meet you again. Thanks again!!
Glorious Tuscan Hideaway
One of the most delightful places on earth is Castelvecchio. My husband and I spent the whole month of April 2019 in this beautiful condo. Castelvecchio is a little medieval village way up in the mountains of Northern Tuscany. We used this condo as our home base traveling to Rome, Venice, Southern Tuscany, Siena and Florence. Arianna Marchini is a beautiful person who helped us book railroad tickets for these trips. We would love to return to this special spot in Italy. The Marchini family are wonderful people to work with. Sue and Bob Catherwood, Santa Fe, New Mexico
Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm really happy that you enjoyed your stay in Castelvecchio in our holiday home. You are really special people and you made us feel really proud. We really hope to have you as our guests again. Thank you again. Hugs.

We would Stay here again anytime.
The Medieval Village of Castelvecchio di Pescia is about 15 minutes from the main city of Pescia. it's a small village in the heart of the so called "Svizzera Pesciatina" where today live around 200 peoples, the nice place to spend a holiday from the chaos of big cities.
You are completely surrounded by the Tuscan countryside but you are close to the city of Pescia, where you can find all the services you need for long stays like shops, supermarkets, train stations, highway, restaurants etc.
Near the village where you can stay fresh during the summer days
In Castelvecchio there is the beautiful Romanic church that you see in your photographs that is a nice place to visit and discover.
In the vicinity of 2 kms, there is a family-run restaurant that offers food and drink.
If you are looking for a better place to stay, you need to be able to get away from it.
- Montecatini Terme, famous for its thermae, 30 minutes by car
- Montecarlo, surrounded by grapewines where there are a lot of wine companies, 30 minutes by car
- Collodi, the village where the writer Carlo Collodi wrote Pinocchio novel and where you can visit a dedicated thematic park
- Vinci, the village where Leonardo da Vinci is born and where you can visit a museum that describes his invention
- Lucca, one of the most beautiful cities of Tuscany, 45 minutes by car
- Florence, not enough words to describe its beauty and offers, at less than one hour by car.
- Pisa, the city of the pending tower, one hour by car.
Most of these places can be reached by train too, that is at 25 minutes by car from Castelvecchio.
Pisces. The seaside can be reached by train.
