The apartment is located in a very convenient location for cafes and restaurants, and walking distance to nearly all of the major sight. Also, property management could not have been more helpful. I would recommend this place for anyone coming to Rome to see the sights.
Use air conditioning with moderation
The location of this apartment was ideal. It is convenient for walking to many interesting sites as well as the restaurants and bars of Trastevere. There was also easy access to bus lines which can take one to sites which are slightly further away. However, this apartment is located in a venerable building so be flexible. The air conditioning cannot be used at the same time as the hairdryer and the toilet seat in the smaller bathroom is unable to stay upright unless the Velcro strip on the tank is refreshed. Communication was initially an issue with the property management company but once we arrived in Rome, this issue improved since their office is just down the street (approximately 60 meters away).
Almost perfect apartment in a great location
With a few fixes this apartment could be a 5-star find. The water heater needs replacing (shower goes ice cold every 30 seconds or so for about 30 seconds), one of the 2 living room windows doesn’t open, and the pullout table in the kitchen is broken. King bed has an extremely firm mattress. On the plus side, it’s a huge apartment by Roman standards and we loved the neighborhood. Convenient to everything.
Comfortable, elegant, great location!
My partner and I stayed 5 days with another couple and couldn't have asked for a more perfect rental. Great location that was close to everything but enough off the beaten track to not be too noisy at night. Plenty of room for 2 couples (2 bathrooms!) to have privacy but also to be together to eat, play games, and just chill. We even cooked one night - the kitchen had all the utentils/pots we needed for our roman feast!
The property is as advertised. A few worn out items, but overall spacious and light.
A wonderful location if you want to be away from the crowds. A charming quiet street, blocks from everything you want to see.
Spacious place in a great part of Rome
This is a large two-bedroom, second-story apartment in the historic area. It sleeps two couples and has at least one extra bed. It has space for at least a few more people. There are two bathrooms, both with toilet and shower, so a fairly large group can be comfortably accommodated. For us, it was just me and the wife, so it was bigger than we needed. But, we really enjoyed this location. The Pantheon and Piazza Navona are within walking distance. The Vatican is just a little further away but still easily walkable. There is a grocery store about a block-and-a-half away.
The place is managed by "WonderWhereTo Stay" and we were very happy with their prompt response and the initial meeting at the apartment. The representative was there when we showed up to give us keys and instructions, plus a free bottle of wine and crackers! Like all places in this part of Rome, the building is ancient, but the apartment is clean and spacious with a functional kitchen.
