Sheltered between Cap Dramont and the Pointe de la Baumette, the harbor of Agay is a natural gateway to the Esterel mountains.
Its configuration makes it a very popular place for sailors (Agay also means "favorable" in Greek). You will appreciate its three sandy beaches, the summit of Rastel and its red rocks, overlooking the bay and offering a breathtaking panorama.
Agay also has a small port area of 166 places, some of which are available for reception, as well as an organized mooring area.
When the first railroad arrived in 1860, Agay quickly took off, and attracted many artists to his shores: Louis Valtat, Vincent d'Indy, Maupassant, Maurice Donnay and St-Exupéry were among those. In honor of the latter was also erected a fountain called Fountain for the Little Prince.
