About John Thomson
We are Jacqui and John, a retired couple. My wife, Jacqui, was an Ambulance Assistant and I was a teacher, restaurateur and finally an owner of a software company. Not trusting the money markets we have invested in this lovely villa in Alicante to provide both an income for ourselves and to give our family somewhere to have a nice holiday. We bought it in December 2017 and have spent a lot of money on it including air-conditioning throughout and central heating. We have created a brand new kitchen downstairs as well as a new bathroom. Friends and family have already stayed there and they love it. We hope you will too.

Why John Thomson chose San Miguel de Salinas
We were immediately impressed by the look of this villa. We could see that it had massive potential so we set about giving it a full scale make over to make it as luxurious as possible. It already had a massive 10m x 5m private pool and lovely grounds. We added air-conditioning throughout and Central heating so that it could be used all the year round, particularly thinking of golfers. If you are looking for something smaller for one family or a small group then we also offer this accommodation as a ground floor apartment ( Property ID 10012804) and as a first floor apartment (Property ID 10012803).
What makes this Villa unique
This villa has two separate living areas as well as three terraces, and three outside sitting areas. This means that the villa fulfills many requirements. 1. Several generations of a family can comfortably holiday together without necessarily living together. For instance Grandparents could live upstairs while their children and Grandchildren could live downstairs. 2. A party of up to 10 golfers or tennis players could stay here without living on top of each other. There are so many different private areas that no one need feel crowded. 3. Two families who would like to holiday together but don''t necessarily want to live in each others pockets can easily separate when they want to. 4. The parents of a single family can have a family holiday but let their grown up children go their own way when they want some peace and quiet.
